SGLI
My nephew has a discharge date of Feb 11, 2026. He passed away this past Monday, June 22. From what I have read, SGLI extends 120 days from discharge date. Which in his case was June 11. He died 11 days later. Is my brother just out the SGLI by the 11 days, or could there be some kind of waiver? He suffered from PTSD and took his own life.

Juicy letter with surprise ending
Found in the parking lot when I was helping my nephew move out of his university.
