How does MacroFactor's algorithm account for irregular activities?

For example, I'm spending a lot of time this week and next week outside digging and installing pavers, which means I'm also eating a lot more, and I'm relatively confident I won't gain weight from it.

Is there a way to tell it that this is unusual and it shouldn't adjust my maintenance calories once I go back to my normal activity level? Or is the only way to account for this to lower my intake myself and wait for the numbers to go down themselves over time?

Petite ladies, what did your overhead press progression look like?

After the first two weeks of graduating from dumbbells, I failed my first set today (supposed to be 4 x 8 at 43 lbs, only managed 8, 5, 7, 7 at 43 lbs). On strength level, this still puts me only in the novice category (5 ft, 115 lbs).

I'm curious what progression looked like for everyone here? When did you stop being able to add 5 lbs per week? My 1.25 lb change plates arrived in the mail today, but I had still hoped I'd be able to progress to higher numbers before going down to 2.5 lb weekly increments. Not sure if i should stick things out and just rest longer or take longer between reps and white knuckle it out. Or if this is around the level i can expect gains to slow. My eventual goal is being able to bench press and shoulder press my body weight.

Tracking incline/decline angles?

Right now I'm just using the workout notes to track my angles but I'm wondering if i might be missing a more "official" place to track progression and maybe see graphs? I have a few exercises where the progression is in the angles, not the weights.

Minimum fitness level for beginner lessons?

Due to mental health issues, I've basically almost ruined my body for the past 10 years. I only got my shit together this year, but even though I've lost weight (finally at normal BMI) and made progress strength training, my cardio/endurance is in the gutter and i have basically no flexibility or balance. I'm working on mobility and flexibility following the knees over toes guy, but I'd really like to start dancing at some point.

What sort of fitness "minimums" would you guys recommend before starting beginner lessons? Should I be able to run for X minutes straight before trying dancing? Are there specific poses/stretches i should be able to do before I can even try common dance moves? I'm reading that beginner ballet is great for technique and applies to a lot of other genres but it also seems like the most demanding from a technical and fitness perspective. My own interests are in jazz/contemporary.

I'm 100% okay waiting until I'm in better shape before starting but I'd love to know what i should be aiming for. Thanks for reading this long post of mine!

Nobody told me you get *more* hungry at lower weights!

Sometimes I feel like the weight loss journey is just filled with unexpected traps.

This is my third time attempting to lose weight, starting at 160 lbs back in February. With long term lifestyle change in mind, I went hard on protein and fiber, reduced sodium intake, and added tons of volume/veggies. Then add OMAD/intermittent fasting, and for the first time ever, I wasn't hungry at all after eating!

Once i lost my first 20 lbs, i started adding strength training in March/April.

This lasted all the way to July where I'm now at 115 lbs. And out of nowhere, I suddenly started getting hungry again! My meals that were plenty filling back at 160 lbs suddenly leave me ravenous towards the evenings.

No idea how scientific this is, but apparently after being on a deficit for too long and after burning through too much fat, your body will start demanding more calories/energy?

I'm on a maintenance break now and will focus on lifting. And once i see some more progress in the gym, I'll go on a cut for the final few pounds.

But man, I'm really hoping this hunger subsides soon. I was so optimistic about this time finally sticking because I thought i got rid of the food noise!

Carb intake for strength training

So I'm currently 5'0, 116 lbs and about 6 lbs off from my goal weight of 110 lbs. I am planning to eat at maintenance and start lifting for recomp, but the issue is that I've been eating low carb (not quite keto) during my entire weight loss journey and I'm reading that i should up my intake for strength training.

I'm curious what everyone's macros and carb intake looks like? Do you eat more carbs on workout days or do you eat the same amount of carbs every day?

My current diet gets about 100g protein but only 60g carbs.
