I dont know of this is right subreddit for this but I am looking for Adjunct Roles at CUNY colleges.

Some context:

Already have been an Adjunct for one semester on behalf of CUNY 2x. I have tons of professors and even professional colleagues willing to write letters of recommendation.

Rate my professor currently a 5 and student feedback from what I hear have been positive.

My credentials:

I hold a masters degree

I have over 3 years of industry experience (currently work as a cyber security consultant)

Have taught Math to High Schoolers and Middle Schoolers and in college taught Python class

Also a resume coach for a non profit

Mentor and Manager at my regular job for new joiners

I would love to teach cybersecurity as top pick since I have the most knowledge on that.

I am a young professional (25) and I do believe in teaching with the intent that kids are best prepared for the job market. I would love the chance to give back to CUNY as an Alum as well.

Hi some context nyc native moved to Boston (🤢) 2 years ago and now officially moving back.

I have a regular 9-5 but on Fridays-Sunday I worked as a security guard from 3-11 PM. I make 23 an hour in the security guard job now.

I am in good standing at the current security guard company and would like to with similar timings and pay. I have my guard license.

I also am open to evenings bartender roles all week. I am moving to Bayside Queens and can drive to LI as well.

Also i have been looking into gig work and wouldnt mind some advice and tips for being successful. I considered TLC but sadly dont have the time to commit for the exams without taking PTO.

Hello just wanted to make a separate post on my current situation.

Short Story:

My brother (11 y.o.) is facing a massive confidence issue. He currently feels socially awkward and unwanted.

I think he is bottling this in which is not healthy. I want him to see a therapist.

My requirement for therapist are as follows:

it has to be someone who is patient,

who has a history of dealing with depression in kids,

I need a therapist who wont quit or drop him (1. His entire life has been people in and out, 2. Reintroducing yourself and your problems is just exhausting)

Cannot be south asian (we are south asian ourselves and ive had bad experiences when speaking to south asian therapists -- they downplay what im feeling)

Located in queens would be ideal but willing to commute

Context:

My mother fails to take him to school so his social emotional health takes a toll because all the people in class have made friend groups while hes coming back days later.

Im hoping he makes friends once hes in middle school and living with me. And just doing more activities.

However the main concern is this has gone on for an entire year. Ive asked him how is he and he says fine. It wasnt until I asked why does your teacher think youre anxious hes breaks down in tears.

I commend my brother so much for having such emotional restraint but it is heartbreaking to think at that young age he would have to do that.

I am hoping I can get some guidance here but I need a good child custody lawyer.

Background:

My brother (11 yo) is currently living with our mother. She is unfit to be a parent. I have a long list of reasons and proof as to why she is not.

My brother recently broke down into tears telling me hes sad and anxious and a lot of it is due to the home life. Even his teachers often say he is extremely anxious and sad.

We do not share the same father. I am looking to take child support from his father for specifically my brother (it is his right). I can only do that while hes under my custody.

Main Reason why I am confident i will win:

I provide stability while she does not

I have a job she does not (none for the laet 10 years)

What I am looking for.

A lawyer or services that can help me. It is truly an easy case. I spoke to a lawyer who said my chances are extremely high to win. The lawyer/law office quoted me 12k.

I sadly do not have that money at the moment as I changing apartments and that is taking most of my money.

Ultimately I am looking to make these a seamless process not involving ACS or keeping my brother out of the courts as much as possible. Keeping it cordial as much as possible. My middle brother and I went through that system with our father and mother and it takes a toll.

However if it does get messy I want to be prepared for that.

Ideally a reasonable lawyer to help me that has stellar reviews.
