Sam gets knocked out...a lot

I'm surprised i haven't seen any mention of this in the subreddit. I'm rewatching for the umpteenth time (in Season 15 rn) and watching so close together, I'm noticing how often Sam is knocked unconscious. How he doesn't get concussions or have long-term effects is what I'm fixated on right now.

Anyone else notice this?

Does anyone else dread packing lunches?

I don't know why, but it's the only thing I do for my kids that I dislike. It doesn't even take that long, it's just an annoying daily task.

Looking forward to summer break (aka Lunchbox Break).

Do you have a laundry chute in your home?

I've lived in Wisconsin all my life and have only ever been in one home with a laundry chute - my best friends childhood home. Why are they so uncommon? I have wanted one my whole adult life, but never saw any when shopping for homes and would love to get one installed. Is there a potential problem with them that I'm unaware of?

Ascites and gastric cancer

I have Stage 4 Gastric Cancer and I've developed ascites in the last week. The ER doctor told me this is a sign of progression, but referred me to my Oncologist for more details. I have an appointment coming up, but in the meantime thought I'd ask: Anyone experiencing ascites, what was your prognosis? Am I nearing the end?

I was diagnosed last fall with Stage 4 Cancer, resulting in my Oncologist declaring me permanently disabled with no prospects of returning to work.

I really, really miss working. I reflected on what I enjoyed the most and it was helping my team grow, as well as my formal Mentor role cross-functionally. I have 14 years of HR Management experience and was a natural navigating office politics and understanding what the senior managers wanted.

I'd like to find a program that connects people like me with working professionals on a regular frequency. I don't want income, just a break from thinking about Cancer all the time, paying it forward with others. Do these types of programs exist? Can I be a volunteer v an employee?
