VCA 18k Solid Gold Color discussion

Hi everyone, I have a question about the color of my solid 18k gold VCA. I have a rep, and the color of the gold is very bright, while I know people who have authentic VCA bracelets and their gold looks much less bright, almost more beige and matte/opaque. (Note their stone is different as I have the onyx while they have the red stones) Is this difference normal even among authentic pieces? Or is the fact that my gold is much brighter a red flag?
