But at least Colin might get a free lunch out of the deal.

• Dennis has the paperwork, the signatures, and absolutely no interest in being polite about it.
• Colin has a concussion, a custody transfer, and the wrong pair of briefs.
• Harry has a partner to talk down and a promise to keep.
• And everyone seems to have forgotten: there's still a killer on the loose. A killer who knows where Colin lives.

Oliver has a Plan. It's just not a good one. Colin's plan is to not get arrested for everything he's done in the last four days.

One of these plans works. The other involves Colin, stealing an Auror's broom — which would be more heroic if he knew how to fly one.

Somewhere in Knockturn Alley, a killer is waiting.

And Colin is alone.

Chapter 22: "Blishwicking Away the Evidence"

Colin arrives at Puddlemere with a folder of new evidence pointing at a referee who fought for inspection duties he never wanted in the first place. But with three attacks and one murder now in four days, the line between hunter and hunted is getting blurry. Oliver volunteers to talk to Blishwick anyway.

Probably a bad idea.
