first roll of film ever - cried // canon a2 / 50mm 1.8 / ektacolor 400

i shoot digital and i LOVE my fuji, but i recently picked up a canon a2 on marketplace and these are my very first shots. the body has a crack in the plastic near the film door and since i bought it cheap and untested, i was feeling pretty anxious during this entire roll about potential light leaks, shutter problems etc.

the day was BEAUTIFUL and i was really loving what these potentially could look like (through the viewfinder) which made me even more attached to each shutter press.

i can’t even describe how much i love these pictures. the ones of my dog legitimately made me cry because they’re so beautiful. i’m still kind of at a loss for words over how special these shots are to me and how in love i am with the look and feel compared to digital. which kind of terrifies me haha but anyways!! happy to be here and i hope you enjoy these!
