Which male character should be swapped for this energy?

Which masculine character, played by a male, should be swapped for a woman who gives off Yara‘s energy?

Is Rhys’s restraint part of his love language?

Okay, I’m at chapter 45 of ACOMAF and I’m about to burst. There’s tension, and then there’s torment. I understand that they need to establish friendship and stability first. Rhys and Feyre have both been through traumatic events and they need to find safety. I understand the back and forth jabs, the flirting are not there just to tease us, the reader — it’s building safety, tension, reciprocity, and voluntary recognition instead of fate-based surrender. I get it, but jesus!

This is taking sooooo loooooong. Is it because Rhys already knows the magnitude of the bond, but Feyre doesn’t? Pulling my hair out over here. This is so painful.

GoT parallels w the Mortal Queens

The Mortal Queens are like Cersei — and Rhys, Feyre and co all have to convince them that a terrible mutual enemy is coming to wipe them all out. The Queens assert that they can take on this enemy (which they can’t), and then say, ‘prove it’.

So just like Jon Snow and his men traveling to the North to grab a White Walker / the Undead — they now have to prove to the Queens that they would be good allies and need each other to survive.

(I’m only on ch 41 of ACOMAF.)

No regard for Tamlin *and* Lucien

I’m on chapter 29 of ACOMAF and she just wrote her letter to Tamlin. Barely a letter — maybe a paragraph? I cannot believe this is the first time that she’s thought about them and how they must be feeling. They must’ve been so frightened of what had happened to her. Absolute dread. How could she completely disregard their feelings? Especially given everything she had been through with both Tamlin and Lucien? This is absurd.

She and Lucien were best friends. I understand falling out of love with someone — but to not even let them know she was okay until however long it’s been?

Not to mention the fact that Tamlin felt he was keeping her safe from all High Fae, Hybern, *and* Rhysand.

What assessment is needed for postictal state?

Hi everyone, my apologies for the multiple questions, but my brother‘s doctor is not providing him with adequate care.

We just got the MRI back from the NYU Langone ER and they only did an MRI of his cervical spine, not his brain. They assessed for new lesions but, not blood flow. From what I understand, in order to do an adequate blood flow study, you need one or more of the following— is this correct?

In order to directly assess:
- brain blood flow
- perfusion
- oxygen use
- stroke-level perfusion deficits
- seizure focus activity
- postictal hypoperfusion

For those, they would need things like:

  1. brain MRI with diffusion/perfusion
  2. MRA/CTA (blood vessels)
  3. CT perfusion
  4. SPECT
  5. PET
  6. EEG

Was Charlotte putting the Bennets in danger of losing Longbourn?

If Charlotte and Mr. Collins hadn’t been given a cottage, wouldn’t they have taken Longbourn, thereby displacing the Bennets? Was the cottage given as a wedding gift?

Hi everyone, my brother has multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. Two weeks ago he suffered a grand mal seizure, and it was one of the biggest ones he’s ever had. (He’s had them before, but this one was more serious.) He later informed us that he had gone off his Adderall, cold turkey, and the doctors believe that is what caused it.

We wanted to bring him in for overnight observation, but they told us to wait, make sure he took his meds at the correct times, and now it has been two weeks. He is still not himself and has been in a prolonged postictal state.

My brother sees two different doctors at NYU Langone for epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. They finally ordered bloodwork and an MRI. The bloodwork is simply to see how much of his medication is in his body, and whether or not he has been taking it. (My parents have been doing their best to help him take it at the correct times, but he does get agitated. He is still not himself.)

My question is — is there any kind of advanced imaging or other scans that the doctors can order to see what kind of damage has happened to my brother‘s brain? For example, they’ve only ordered a regular MRI, and I’m wondering if something like a functional MRI would be better? What imaging has helped you the most in emergency situations like this? Thank you 🙏
