I just found out that some people in the LGBT community call pansexual people "biphobic"

And I just want to say, as a non-binary trans person, thank you, so much, to all the pansexual people who've faced pushback and kept celebrating the identity.

I always appreciate when I see pansexual acknowledged as an orientation - like on pride badges and whatnot - because, to me, pansexual really loudly says that ALL people of ALL genders are worthy of love.

I know that there are bisexual people who also are attracted to non-binary people and honor them, but it just doesn't say "all" as loudly as pansexual.

And, listen, this is important- I am not saying that pansexual is "better" than bisexual. They are two different labels that both serve people and both deserve respect and acknowledgement and space. If someone identifies as bisexual, that needs to be respected and supported.

This post is just about pansexual.

And how, as a non-binary trans person who really struggles sometimes, having a label that loudly says "ALL" means so much to me.

And I just found out about some of the bullying that pansexual people can face from our own community.

So thank you so much for standing up to it and continuing to loudly say "ALL"

ADHD - How do I get my brain to focus on the manuscript I'm supposed to be working on?

I have ADHD. I'm not medicated for it, I am on anti depressants, and I've seen really mixed reviews about medication for authors with ADHD so I don't know if that's a good idea.

I have a manuscript that I want to finish and submit to agents. In a few months there's a literary festival where I'll have the chance to meet with agents and if I could just get my brain to focus on this project, I might actually have the first draft done in case anyone is interested.

But my brain keeps wanting to write other things. I wrote 1600 words in the last few hours on a random idea that I doubt will go anywhere, I just had it while reading a book and needed to write it or my brain wouldn't let me rest.

I have tried opening the word document for the manuscript, forcing myself to write even when every fiber of me is fighting with it. Every time I do this, I hate the result and end up deleting it all and rewriting it when I'm actually able to get my brain on track. I know this isn't how neurotypical people usually work, but I have tried repeatedly and there's genuinely no point in forcing myself to write when my brain isn't on it - it does not come out good and just gets deleted.

Then when I am able to get my brain in gear with it, I can write 1000+ words an hour that I'm really happy with.

But how the heck do I get my brain to get on the correct track?

ISO Traditionally published books with trans smut scenes?

I'm working on a romance novel that I'm hoping to get traditionally published, and I'd really like to show some trans sex scenes but I'm not sure how it's been portrayed by traditional publishers, or if it has. All the books I know are self published, all the traditionally published trans romances I've found so far have nothing past kissing.

Preferably featuring a trans man, but any trans person having sex would be good.

Thank you!

[1110] - Moonlight - Outline

I know that it's not advised to share outlines here for critique, but I'm going to try writing my first manuscript and I'm really antsy about trying to write 80k+ words just to find out the underlying plot is a complete flop, so please give it a look. I know that I have to write it well to make it work - but is the framework decent? I tried to include enough information for it to be understandable.

This is a queer, contemporary, fantasy romance. Does it seem like the plot hits the beats that romance readers expect? Is there anything that's missing?
