VITURE Beast vs XREAL One Pro/R1 for work and gaming

Hello there! I'm choosing between the VITURE Beast and XREAL One Pro/R1.

My first use case is a locked-down corporate laptop where I can't install any software or drivers. I basically need the glasses to work as an external virtual monitor with 3DoF/screen anchoring handled by the glasses or external hardware. Does One Pro or R1 work without any software?

The second is gaming on a desktop without an USB-C video output on the GPU. AFAIK, with Beast/One Pro I will need to buy a suitable DP->type c cable and some features will be unavailable. Does R1 dock solve this problem?

Which setup would you choose for this use case? And is it worth waiting for the XREAL Aura instead?

Hey, guys! I hope it's the right sub - I want to buy my friend a scale model of his car, which happens to be grey Urus, 2021. I did some initial research and it seems that best options are MR Collection or AutoArt (or at least those two option are readily available where I live).

As far as I understood, Mr collection is more premium, comes with certificate and display box. I watched some YT videos and quality seems to be... subpar (maybe it was a fake, though). But while searching through this sub I have seen many posts that AutoArt models are also not so good, at least since they switched materials.

What would you recommend?

Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to upgrade my setup and I’m torn between the H&S Infinity 2024 and the Evolution 2024.

For some context: I’m coming from an Evolution Silverline 2-in-1. My primary focus is painting miniatures and busts, with occasional work on larger scale models/vehicles.

In terms of materials, I mainly use Vallejo acrylics, but I also use Citadel metallics, which can sometimes have slightly larger pigment particles. I’m looking for something that offers high precision for detail work but isn't too finicky when it comes to paint consistency. I am considering a dual-needle setup (2-in-1) to keep things versatile, but my main goal is to achieve the highest level of detail possible on faces and fine textures.

Budget is not my main concern here, but I’m more interested in the value vs. performance aspect. Is the jump to the Infinity 2024 worth it for the precision gain, or would the Evolution 2024 be a more practical all-rounder given that I occasionally work with slightly thicker paints?

I also have two specific questions regarding the Infinity 2024:

  1. The Titanium Nozzle: Is the titanium nozzle in the new Infinity 2024 a genuine game-changer in terms of durability and precision, or is it mostly marketing hype?
  2. Nozzle Size: Do you think a 0.28mm nozzle in Evolution is sufficient for high-level detail work on faces and small textures, or finer titanium one is better?
  3. How do you find the usability of the Infinity 2024 adjustments (needle lock button and adjustable trigger)?

If anyone has experience switching between these two models for miniature painting, I’d love to hear your thoughts on maintenance and long-term reliability.

Thanks in advance!
