What to focus on starting Muay Thai at 45

If you are starting Muay Thai at 45, and only have time to train 2x a week, what techniques should you focus on. I’m guessing roundhouses to the head may not be sustainable.

But if there’s an approach and/or techniques that are favorable for a middle aged beginner I’d love to get some advice.

My motivation for training is self defense

BJJ Black Belt going to judo

For a 46 year old BJJ black belt (18 years BJJ) looking to train exclusive judo 2x a week, what throws/takedowns/trips do you guys recommend? I notice most judo players start as kids, not 46. But hoping the black belt in BJJ helps some

What is best place for American expat: Dumaguete, Cebu City, or Iloilo City?

53 year old American retiree, looking to move to the Philippines permanently. Budget will be $3k US a month. Looking for:

-decent apartment with consistent electricity and AC
-access to a community pool would be nice
-access to affordable healthcare, fresh food produce, etc

I’m also looking to have some fun and an active and fun dating life will be important too.

Out of Dumaguete, Cebu City, or Iloilo City, which one would be best?

Looking for advice from the folks who have already moved and can speak on the pros and cons of each
