Seeing figures only at night , how do I manage this?

Ever since my teens, I’ve woken up maybe a few times a month to a figure standing right next to my bed. The figures can change and sometimes I see their detail (usually is 1 person but sometimes I see more). They just stand there, and I get scared, pull covers over my face, then get my phone light on and they’re gone.

This happens more often when I’m in a new place. Like vacations. For example, I was staying in Atlantic City , and I woke up and saw a woman in a torn up nightie (couldn’t see her facial features or anything). The next morning I look up if anyone died at the hotel, and come to find out a woman was thrown down a trash shoot in the tall condo building.

Moved to a new house in an historic area in VA, didn’t know any of the history. After 2 months, I woke up to a group of 3 people and they looked bloated and wet and covered in seaweed. I went to the town’s little history building and asked if my neighborhood was a war site or something. Come to find out, the waterways were part of the war of 1812 with a decent amount of casualties.

All this to say, should I be helping these people? How can I if I’m so scared. Or I’m just crazy but there’s so many more stories I have like this. It would be nice to hear I’m not alone or how to manage this…

How do you survive a road trip 🥹🥹🥹🤢

I am 8 weeks pregnant and we have to trek to Florida from VA. We are splitting it 5 and 5 between 2 days. This trip was planned before getting pregnant and I don’t want to let the family down. I don’t have the option to fly and meet them. How can I get through this? I have zofran and recently got reglan. Any good snacks to keep the tummy settled or drinks? Any recommendations would help. Also, I haven’t figured out the timing of taking these meds because I’m still throwing up on them. Fml 🤦‍♀️

I need food, what’s easy on your stomach?

Guys I’m so tired of eating crackers. If that’s my life now, so be it, but was wondering if anyone found any cheat meals that’s easy on the stomach. I need something 🥹 I’m 7 weeks on my second pregnancy and don’t even remember what I did when I survived this the first time.

Mom is losing her mind literally and I don’t know what to do next?

My mom is in her early sixties and has MS. She’s been sick for my whole life but in the last 10 years has been blind and bedridden. Her mind has always been sharp, but she has been septic 3 times in the last few years (2 of those times within the last 6 months). Since then, she has been a completely different person.

My sister and I take turns caring for her when her caregivers aren’t there; she gets 56 hours a week.. if they show up that is. Even with all of this, my mom needs more care than we can provide. Around the clock. She has a few good fingers on her right hand she can use but that’s about it. She’s incontinent.

I’m trying to convince her she needs to go into a home. She refuses, but yet calls the caregiving agency saying she’s by herself, has ants in her bed (there are no ants), swears people are talking to her that aren’t there, and that we aren’t feeding her. She turns the caregivers against us and against the agency. Just sabotaging everything at this point. She verbally abuses me and my sister when we are trying our best. What can I do to get her in a long term nursing home? She’s calling the agency and saying all these issues and they’re threatening to call APS on us. I’m pregnant with a toddler and literally can’t take the stress anymore and feel hopeless. I want my mom taken care of and this home situation isn’t cutting it anymore clearly. What steps can I take to be able to make decisions for her? Is that even the right route?

I’m in Maryland
