Probs the best place to discuss this, but ive had horrible anxiety about being abandoned or replaced for a long time now like pretty much since i was 5 because of some stuff that happened to me in the past. i have a friend who has stated they love me, but i cant possibly comprehend that they genuinely feel that way for me, even after ive opened up to them multiple times about my past. i feel like i have practically shoved them in a corner numerous times so they can reassure that im not a bad person for dropping all my feelings on them and showing constant worry that they will one day never talk to me again because theyve lost all interest in me. we’ve done a ton of things together that required breaking boundaries, yet i still cant convince myself that our friendship is truly something unique. i wrote a long ass letter explaining that i want them to leave me so they wont get overwhelmed by me anymore, but im terrified to send it because i dont know how they will respond. i want them to leave but i dont want them to leave. its a lot more complicated than how im explaining it rn, but thats about the gist of it. yeah i dont know what to think or what to do
So i’ve been trying to help my parents sign the direct plus mpn and do the plus application, but it seems like they can’t even open the forms! It’s the only things left that I need to do, but FAFSA only shows the demos sooo kind of confused now
So my aid hasn’t been updated since 08/08 and I’m wondering if they’ll ever update it again. The website says everything will be finalized by mid-August, so will they send out an email titled like “your aid has been finalized” or should i just assume that the last aid update on my account is my “finalized” aid offer?
Any suggestions on how to save money for overall cost of attendance, food, supplies, & perhaps entertainment? I have a couple savings but I also want to keep some of that for grad school. I do plan on taking out loans, but paying it back while still paying for college seems a little difficult and confusing. I also don’t want to suck all the money out of my parents.
Can someone help me understand this better? I’m freaking out why is my annual tuiton 11k that seems nearly impossible for me to afford…
