Looking to buy leftover Euros (€)

Hi everyone,

I'm heading to Europe soon and looking to buy some Euros (€) locally.

If you have leftover bills from a recent trip, I’d love to buy them off you for CAD. We can use the mid-market exchange rate of the day so we both beat the bank fees!

I can meet up in the St. John's area. Send me a DM if you have some cash to swap. Thanks!

Dual citizens (Canada-Armenia) – Is a parental consent letter needed to leave Zvartnots?

Hi everyone,

My wife and kids (all Canadian-Armenian dual citizens) are visiting Armenia from Canada without me.

When they fly back to Canada, will Armenian border control at Zvartnots ask for a notarized parental consent letter from me? If yes, does it need to be translated into Armenian, or is English okay? Wife and kids will be using Canadian passports traveling to Armenia but kids expected to obtain Armenian passports while in Yerevan.

Looking for real experiences from dual citizens who did this route with one parent.

Thanks!

Recommendations for a 7yo "Math Whiz" (calculates factorials mentally) with ADHD?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for board game recommendations for my 7-year-old son. He has a very unique brain—he is extremely advanced in math (he can calculate up to 9! mentally by multiplying the sequence in his head) and has a huge interest in logic and patterns.

Current favorites:

Blokus: He is very good at the spatial reasoning and blocking strategy.

Chess: He’s been playing for 6 months at after-school clubs. He’s made massive progress in understanding the rules and notation, though he’s still working on the patience/long-term strategy side of being a "great" player.

The ADHD Factor:

He has ADHD, so games with long "downtime" (waiting for others to move) can be a struggle. He needs something that keeps his brain "spinning" or has simultaneous play. He currently doesn't have his own devices, so we are looking for physical tabletop options.

What we are looking for:

Games that involve heavy mental calculation or logic.

High engagement/fast pace (to manage the ADHD restlessness).

He is bad in the social skills aspect, e.g. he doesn't even greet people(teachers, classmates) but he is pretty chatty in general.

Thank you in advance.
