Ivey MBA or look for other options?

I have an admit from Ivey with a fat scholarship along with additional loan arrangements through Ivey’s partners. This overall significantly reduces my tuition cost, with money mostly spent on living etc.

I want to pursue an international career in brand management, after working in global ad agencies since last 4 years. I am unsure if I should look at Indian options that can help provide international opportunities few years after my MBA or should I make the switch and move to Canada, to pursue brand management there.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks

After the trailer, I hope this doesn’t become another big boss

I somewhere felt the trailer was filled with anecdotes from contestant’s personal lives. The comment section is already filled with those fan clubs of youtubers like Abhishek Malhan or Munnawar. The trolling will begin soon.

Somewhere the essence of traitors - which is the gameplay was a small part of the trailer. I hope this turns out to be false and the show turns out to be good. But atm, I am not sure.

395 to 525 to now 585, targeting a 625

Hey all,
I took the test yesterday and scored a 585, after working my way up from 525. 395 was my first mock and after gruelling for a year, I got to 525 and now 585.

Q - 80
V - 84
DI - 73

DI was the last and I am not sure why I messed up pretty badly. I scored 77 last time around, however this time, I think I missed some traps and key identifiers in the section. I need to give the test in the next 15 days to meet a few deadlines.

I need help with a roadmap for the next 15 days and what’s the right course of action from here? My mocks were consistently from 80-83, whereas on GMAT Club test I scored a 77.

Requesting if someone can help me out. Would really appreciate it.

Different observation on GMAT Club Tests. Score related question.

I just attempted a GMAT Club DI sectional test and scored a 78. However, while going through the questions again and checking the difficulty on GMAT Club forum, I found that the GMAT Club score sheet marked a lot of questions as either easy/medium, while on the GMAT Club the questions were over 655 level.

Since the algorithm scored me basis that, but the questions themselves are not easy/medium in the first place, which difficulty level should I trust more? Is something up with GMAT Club adaptive score sheet, that it marks the question as easy, while it isn't actually easy?

Should I take the test?

I am planning to book the test sometime this months, I took the 4th mock first and scored a 645, scored a 625 today on mock 3. Verbal and DI felt a bit harder. My target is somewhere around 625.

Should I take the test basis the scores in the next few days?

Stop spreading negativity for an unserious show

I think the sub has gotten infested with people who watch bigg boss or roadies, bringing in negativity from people who know nothing better than to be bitter in life. It’s an unserious show meant for people who don’t need toxicity in life and a break from usual reality tv drama, but seems like the toxic audience has found their way in, starting with this sub.

I am addicted to this show.

I was someone who would look down upon desi comedy tv in general. I thought all are cringe and probably would never connect with me. I would just peek into my parents watching this show and I would be like why the hell are they liking this, aren’t all these shows just cringey af? But then, looking at the hype, I tried watching this show and OH MY GOD. Believe me, i am addicted to the point that im watching all the previous episodes everyday and this is the only thing i watch these days. I didn’t realise that the other shows are still cringe, probably because it is scripted, here idk just the people are exceptionally witty. Their impromptu reactions and their camaraderie just makes it raw and so much authentic.

This basically changed my opinion on comedy shows in general.

Planning an MBA at Queen’s Smith / Ivey in Canada, anyone on the same boat?

I am planning to apply to both the above mentioned schools for the upcoming intake. Anyone planning to apply/ considering canadian program, let’s connect?

They’ve got basically most of the famous contestants from last roadies - hartaj, rohit, gunjan, rishabh. The mentors are mostly ex bigg boss - nikki, fukra, khesari and priyanka.

It’s not an MTV/Jio show but they’ve got most of the famous people from the ‘Jio/Endemol reality family’

But is anyone watching it? I’ve seen a few episodes and it seems okay, good tasks.

On my daily commute, I started off with the usual Courtside by Aujla to set the mood. I let the suggestions take over and I came across this BANGER. This has been on REPEAT since morning guys im not even kidding. I’m not a punjabi speaker, so I look for translations online and mostly only listen to Punjabi music. This has been my best find since a while for me. I don’t know the musician or their work, but this one is surely up there for me.

Need some stuff with similar vibe. What’s your take?
