Would you have preferred it if Zack stuck to this Colour Grading for ZSJL?

In the early marketing for JL, when Zack Snyder was still involved, it was apparent that he was going for a more brighter colour palette. I am pretty sure it was mandated by WB but under Snyder it looked good unlike the saturated mess that the film turned into under Whedon. This colour grading seemed to be present in the first "Hallelujah" trailer for ZSJL as well. I think Batman's suit looked more "blue" when the film had this look and I loved that. But the final film abandoned it and went for an even darker aesthetic.

One thing I don't like about ZSJL is that it seems very "grey" at times. It should have been a bit brighter since the film's tone is actually pretty hopeful and it's about multiple heroes in different costumes coming together. I think BvS had the perfect look and is one of the best looking CBM films. Well all of the Snyder films look excellent but the departure of Larry Fong was felt in JL.

So do y'all prefer the look that Snyder went with or the more "blue" look that he was going for earlier.

I hate to be this petty but ts funny asf

All these so called "DC fans" with their double standards who praise Gunn's slop universe are coping hard and I can't wait to see more of this within the DCU's very short future.

I don't even want Snyder. DC just needed someone competent and a visionary to oversee their universe who had some semblance of direction to adapt these characters properly and most importantly make "good" films.

Instead we got a poop and pedo joke making hack who makes and approves slop and tries to cover it up with his terrible playlist.

Sad to see the DC IP might just get retired for a long time if another universe fails again but its stupid divided fandom honestly deserves it

This IS Superman. Determined. Selfless. Humble. Hopeful. Inspiring

13 years later and I still believe this scene is one of the best representations of what Superman is. The resolve to be the glimmer of hope during the darkness of despair. When all hope is lost, the world is reliant on one man to persevere and show that not all is lost.
