I am almost done with my new grad program and the program allows me to experience through different units. I interviewed with all the different unit managers and I got into my top choice which is psych! So super exciting but also nervous. Any tips are greatly appreciated thank you <3

I was prescribed a 6 day taper dose of methylprednisolone for hives that I got about two weeks ago. I took 6 tablets on day 1 (05/12) but then I stupidly threw away my meds. I then went to urgent care and got it prescribed again. The provide said to just start the meds over, so I took 6 tablets again and then my last dose was on 05/18. After taking the steroids, I had numbness and tingling on my hands and feet and muscle pain on my calves. I feel like when I go to sleep and then wake up, is the worst. I went to my PCP and they said it’s likely due to the steroids. I was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar to this before after taking steroids?
I am very scared that my nerves won’t heal and that this will be a forever thing. I will get my labs checked and have another appointment with my PCP in two weeks. Just wanted to inquire and see if anyone has experienced this before.
