I botched this embroidery job, suggestions welcome

The thread got tangled up when my machine was going to work. Already bought a new sweatshirt to remake the piece for a friend.

Any ideas about how I could maybe patch over it or up-cycle? Feels like kind of bad placement too.

I hate to not use it at all, but there is a small hole where I’ve tried to remove “student” and I’m tired of trying to seam rip this out!

Is this a good deal for the coverage that I have?

I used to get speeding tickets often (last 2 were 3 and 6 years ago) and have had 2 accidents that totaled my cars (2018 and 2021)

I’ve worked really hard to be better. Feels like it’s paying off and GEICO lowered my rate last renewal and this time it’s staying the same.

Anyway, kind input is appreciated.

Small Private practice job

Hi all,

I am job searching as I plan to move out of state soon. I recently contacted a very small OT peds clinic and had a fairly short conversation with the owner. The owner was very upfront that she does not offer benefits, vacation pay, etc.; she only offers short term disability.

She said she is the only full-time employee and that she has 2 other therapists that only work a few hours per week. I would build/manage my own schedule, essentially work as hard or as much as I want and she could get me credentialed to bill BCBS if I wanted. It also sounded like I could choose my clients and decline services if I didn’t feel equipped to handle them. She currently has a waitlist of about 50 kids. It is pay per visit, I do not believe there is any compensation for no shows/cancellations.

I currently work OP peds (3.5 years) at a private clinic with ~30 therapists over 2 locations and feel like I’m generally a good therapist with efforts to obviously connect with my kids and I love to be creative with my work but often feel limited due to time and a busy schedule. My fear is the obvious significant decrease in pay at least until I build up my case load and also a fear of not living up to expectations especially if she is a stellar therapist with many more years of experience than me.

Does anyone have experience in a similar position? What other pros/cons have you experienced? Please give me any and all questions I should ask, even if they seem obvious to you.

TIA and much appreciate any insight!
