I have created this account specifically hoping to find any long lost or distant relatives, purely out of curiosity.

In my family we share a genetic mark, much like a birth mark, but the exact same mark, in the exact same location. It has appeared in both Men and Women, my Grandad and my Aunt both have it, but none of my cousin's or my siblings.

I don't know how far back this mark goes i.e when it first occurred, so the possibilities are endless.

The mark is like a faint bruise in colour, purple and red, shaped roughly like Australia, on the base of the spine, just above the coccyx.

Anyone who has this exact mark should be a relative, however distant.
