I’m new to Reddit, and this is probably my first real post here.

I was with my ex for over 7 years. We officially broke up in September 2022, and even though it’s been a long time, I still can’t forget her. Since then, every time I try to get to know someone new, it never lasts more than a couple of months. Either I lose interest, they do, or I end up thinking that maybe my ex and I will get back together someday.

My life is actually going well. I have a good job, and things are stable, but I’m not ready for anything serious yet. At the same time, I feel like having someone in your life makes a big difference, and I honestly don’t know what to do.

I’m not looking for people to tell me to “man up” or just move on. I’m just wondering if anyone has been through something similar and how they dealt with it.

اليوم صرت ٢٦ و في اكم سؤال ببالي ، هلا انا عمري ما جربت اكون مع شب ولا بجذبني و طول عمري بنجذب للبنات و بحب اتعامل معهم بس في اشي عم بصير معي غريب ، من بعد كورونا صرت احضر سيكو سيكو كثير و بالاغلب يا اما لترانز او ليزبيان و شباب بس ما عليهم شعر و صار للموضوع يجذبني اكثر و اكثر و حتى لما صرت اعمل مع صاحبتي مرات اتخيل انه ترانز او اشي غريب غير الطبيعي ( انا ما بحكي هيك مشان اتعرف على ناس ) بس بنفس الوقت انا حدا بحاول دايما يتقرب من الدين و اصلي و جد واصل مرحله مش عارف افكر بأي اشي ثاني و حتى صحابي مو قادر افضفضلهم لانه بالاغلب رح يحكمو علي بأشي مش منطقي و سمعت عن ريديت انه ما ببين الاسم و انه ممكن حدا يفهمني الموضوع !! بتمنى حدا ممكن مر بنفس الموضوع🙏🏼
