Anyone running the Bermuda Triangle Challenge this January?

Curious if anyone here is running one of the races this January!

My running coach friend and I are bringing a small group over from the US for the weekend. We’ll have runners doing different distances and are turning it into a few days of exploring Bermuda as well.

Would love any local recommendations for race weekend + January in Bermuda. And if anyone else is running, would be fun to connect while we're there!

Anyone interested in running the Bermuda Triangle Challenge this January?

It’s Bermuda’s 50th marathon weekend and there are race options for pretty much every level: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, half + full marathon. You can also do the full Triangle Challenge and earn four medals over the weekend.

My running coach friend and I are bringing a small group and turning it into a long weekend in Bermuda with island exploring, caves, kayaking + some beach time.

Happy to share more details if anyone’s interested in joining us!

Zimbabwe SkyRun + Safari? Curious How Trail Runners Think About Race Travel

Hi everyone!

I just got back from two weeks in Zimbabwe, hosted by a local travel company, and it was incredible. While I was there, I learned about SkyRun, an epic trail race through the country's Eastern Highlands.

It got me wondering how trail runners think about destination races.

A few questions I'd love to pose to the group:

- Do you prefer to stay close to home for runs/races, or do you enjoy traveling for them?

- If you travel, do you mostly fly in and out for the event, or do you like to stick around and see the destination?

- Would a 10-day to 2-week trip feel too long for an adventure like this?

I love how easily a race like this could be combined with other experiences in the country, whether that's safari, hiking, or cultural.

I'm genuinely curious and would love your thoughts before I spend more time thinking about it.

Thanks in advance! I've included some images of the very stunning scenery in the area.

It’s often considered one of the most beautiful races in the world and has 5K, 10K, and full marathon options.

My running coach friend and I are bringing a small group and turning it into a Scottish Highlands experience with time in Inverness and 3 days on the Isle of Skye.

Happy to share more details if anyone’s interested in joining a fun crew!
