Received my 2026 mazda 3 sedan today! It's as base model as base model gets, but it's mine and I love it. Managed to get $1100 (CAD) off MSRP and a free set of winter tires.

Any advice for a first time mazda owner (or car owner in general, it's my first car)? Also open to suggestions on things I should get for the car, I already have the basic necessities like first aid kit, plastic floor mats, windshield brush/scraper.

My battery is dead (not completely, lights turn on with ignition but car won’t start). I have a trickle charger but I see that the car has the negative terminal on the frame, just behind the negative terminal on the battery. Should I attach the negative clip to this or just anywhere on the frame? Is there really any big difference?
