Irrational anger when MIL holds/plays with my baby
Anyone else experience this? Caveat - one of the nicest people ever, normally we get along great.

It stems from some of her parenting choices which I didn't agree with - she is pro contact sleep (not against ppl who do this, she was just really pushing it with my baby and I didn't feel the baby was safe in my arms) and babies sleeping on soft pillows, loose blankets, on their side.

She doesn't push this stuff anymore but having to navigating my anxiety whilst she encouraged all of this at first gave me the ICK and since then I can't stand her being around our 9 week old baby.

She also just calls at random times asking if the baby is awake so she can come play with him, she sees him almost every day and doesn't respect boundaries at all.

I get a bit of separation anxiety and I feel ike we're competing over who makes him smile more. I don't feel like I can take him back when I want. She'll actively walk away when I ask for him back and make some excuse like I haven't finished eating when I insist that I have.

Any advice or tips to deal with his? He does love playing with her and I'm sure I'll eventually appreciate it but right now it makes me angry.
