I can’t stand the protein shakes I got from my doctor. Literally makes me barf just from the smell.
I started drinking Fairlife protein shakes and I can actually stomach those. For anyone who ventured away from the protein shakes they got from your doctor and hated the flavor did y’all leave them behind or do you still try to drink them with a protein you enjoy.
Has anyone had this protein shake and is it good? Does it have that disgusting chalky flavor or does it actually taste like chocolate milk ?
I had to stop with the shakes cause if I even looked at the shake or smelled it I was so nauseous. Figured if I keep trying to drink these shakes I won’t get enough protein in. So I switched to protein water but I can’t for the world drink enough water so I’m still getting very little protein. I’m so tired and lost at this point.
I’m literally beyond ready. I’m so hungry. Do any of y’all have recipes in mind? Can’t find much besides ricotta bake.
I love feeding my family delicious food and I am an excellent cook.what sucks is I can’t even eat my own food I make. So after I serve them I go sit myself down on the couch with my protein drink and watch my family devour the food I made for them. I am so happy my family is well fed and enjoys what I make but damn… I’m so hungry… and today I made a dinner I never made before and they enjoyed it so much and I can’t even taste it. I hate this 😫
But I swear ever since my gastric bypass I got a week ago I swear I smell EVERYTHING and it’s god awful 😂😂 does anyone else have super human sniffing abilities?
Is anyone else’s glue on their incisions already starting to peel? I’m 5 post op and I dunno if that’s normal or not.
I am miserable and in constant pain. How long did it take for yall to feel better? Even drinking the smallest amount of water is giving me upper stomach pain.

I do gotta say though my stomach HURTS lol the only way I can explain my experience (because not everyone will have the same experience) is my stomach feels like the very beginning of labor pains! So that’s fun. lol

Why can’t we have a birthday? You’d think they would let us put a birthday in when creating our character so we also get a birthday. Everyone else gets one and god forbid you forget your spouses or they don’t talk to you for a few days!

My surgery is this Monday! I’m feeling all types of emotions.. nervous, scared.. If anyone can give me encouragement because lately I have been feeling like I made a wrong choice, I feel like I’m not strong enough to do such a drastic lifestyle change. But I did this for a very important reason, to be able to watch my daughter grow up. And that’s why I need this to become healthy.. I just need some encouragement if anyone is willing to give me some. I appreciate it!

Did anyone else’s nutritionist say you can’t have carbs for 6-9 months after surgery?
