I've been putting CAIRN the roleplaying game in the Lil Libraries. Any TTRPG-ers here?

As the title says. Just curious if there's folks out there playing games outside D&D (no shade on D&D, I'm just played out on it). This isn't even a recruitment for players, necessarily, just curious about the community itself.

An Abydon sermon!

I run a lore podcast for the World of Eora (setting for Avowed, and the Pillars of Eternity games). Recently I did an episode where I acted as a preacher for a Woedican church...folks liked it, so I did another one as an Abydon preacher. Hope y'all enjoy it :) thanks

PILLARS LORE - Ep. #171: Kaliwi & Aamiina - Two stories of smaller characters in the World of Eora

For those interested, I've been making a podcast about the Pillars / Avowed world's (Eora) lore for years now. Recently I decided to start alphabetically go through the unique items and piece together the small lore from each of them. To Weave the stories of each character into a larger tapestry. This week's episode focuses on a Chanter from the Rauatai Lore College; and a young Huntress, from the Naasitaqi "Blue Water" tribe.

Hope you enjoy!

AVOWEDCAST (Podcast) Hosts have moved onto a new project (with 8 episodes already released)

I have posted this with permission from the mods.

TL;DR - Pretty much as the title of the post says. We don't have access to Avowedcast's feed, so I'm making a post here to notify fans of that show about our continuation. The story for it is below:

---

For those unaware, Avowedcast was a podcast that began shortly after the Avowed reveal trailer, way back in 2020. This podcast was a show "by fans and for fans", and we lovingly contributed to it for years.

Recently the main host and owner of the show has decided to pull out from the podcast, and unplug a lot of their life in general. This is a decision we fully support as his fellow hosts, and there is no ill-will to the ending of the show, on our parts. We are glad to see Tsora move on to a different chapter of life with a deeper focus on his family.

The rest of us decided to continue on creating podcast episodes, because we loved doing it, and apparently so did you. At least, according to the metrics we had provided to us, a lot of people were listening, so we wanted to continue that.

Since we didn't have log-in access to Avowedcast we created a new show Party Banter (click the link above), which focuses on RPG/Gaming in a broader sense, but still keeps us all as the host line-up.

I am creating this post so that fans of that show (or potentially new fans just reading this) are aware of where to find the continued work for what Avowedcast started. So, if you liked that show and wanted more, check out PARTY BANTER.

Thanks, everyone! It's been a blessing being part of this community, and I'm excited to see where this new show goes next. It's in its infancy, so your voice (literally or metaphorically) can help shape it more. Maybe you reading this could even join (we already have one new regular co-host who brings an awesome new perspective in).

I recorded myself doing a short sermon of Berath for my podcast episode...

As the title says. So, I do a lore podcast for this world these games are set it, currently at Episode 169, started years ago. This episode was a little different; I recorded a short sermon following the cues from "Berathian Scripture" and "The Many Faces of Berath" (two in-game books). It was an experiment, and trial, to see if this would be worth doing more episodes on. Reading the theology of the deity and how it might actually look. Let me know what you think, thanks :)

For any still interested, here's (yet another) episode of my Avowed/Pillars of Eternity lore podcast!

This week I'm discussing the consequences and end-slides of the Dawntreader quest, seen in the Dawnshore region of Avowed. Obviously it goes without saying that there will be spoilers for that side quest in this episode, and even some other main spoilers about 1/3 through the main part of the game. Still, if you're interested, have a gander. Let me know in the comments below if there's any topics you'd like a look at from the Eora games!

Also, I ask at the end of this episode about where the direction of this podcast should go in the long-term. If you're interested in answering.
