The new temper strike mechanic is there so getting a godroll on a weapon is a matter of "when" not "if". It is good that for something that impacts combat such is the case, whilst moonsteel is purely esthetic so it can stay as rare as they want. There are however a few tempers that are, as of now, basically impossible to learn.

The main one, which is fortunately the only one that is physically impossible, is Duplicate. Since it's a feykin magick only temper it only appears on Wyld Oscelda weapons, so it's impossible to gat 10 copies to dismantle.

The following are technically obtainable but would require a comically excessive investment given the current pool of weapons.

The other two feykin tempers, Sympathy pang and Aftershock, can be found in weapons that the player can make multiple copies of. However all feykin weapons are extremely difficult to farm with the exception of the Royal tines, which is still very valuable.

Unnerving Blow is a mendicant magick only temper, so it can only be found on the Erstroot, an extremely rare drop from the Wazzard. I have slain that guy (never in cogah) enough times to get 11 extra fragments for the pants and only once has that staff dropped.

If I had to guess, we will probably get a more common mendicant magick in the future so that solves this last one. However feykin weapons should remain very valuable for lore reasons.

There should therefore be a more time efficient way to fight the Vadag​ar bosses. Waiting for votives and nighttime spawns is extremely tedious and time consuming and makes already miniscule weapon drop rates artificially lower.

Despite their small role, side quests​ like The Fungal Lord are a thing and we can be expected to receive more since a glitch has shown the name of the next one.

There is however no indication of whether or not a player has done them other than it not being triggerable again. It would also be good if these quests provided mastery points as they do represent a form of content that the player has exhausted.

Also when it comes to repeatable story quests like the Waste Bear, at the end we can choose a virtue buff with the final dialogue option. First off there is no indication to the player that such is the case and secondly there should be the respective virtue icon in the journal so that we can keep track when more quests will come out.

Also has anyone replayed the Shewolf Snared after P16 dropped? Has there been any issue with pup selection or training?

You have no idea how annoying it gets to smear the study of one work for so long. What makes it better is how funny it is that despite his journey being a universal allegory for redemption and yet there is not one moment in which he misses the chance to talk about Florence. Also him basically intelectually cucking his wife with Beatrice is also really funny even though its abundantly clear that atleast in writing his love is never erotic.

if you want to avoid larping accusations about him read his "Rime Petrose". Its a short run of poems in which his beloved is named Petra (stone/stoney - referring to a heart of stone) and he just straight up insults her. There are also a short humorous back and forth with Forese Donati in which he tells him he doesn't sleep with his wife.

I know they patched the exploit to change which ancestor spawns but is it possible to reset which graces they offer?

For example if Tuvalkane offers superior craftsmanship instead of the tribute of wrought iron will relogging give me a chance at getting it?

I didn't see anything about it on the wiki so I wanted to see if anybody here tried and succeded.

So the cogah increases enemy levels the more agari you slay​ and gives access to the cogah talismans and runes.

So bannerets (those ode'n bosses that don't drop the mushroon) don't count when it comes to scaling the difficulty, right?

The cogah talismans scale up to 20 agari so is that the limit or could the enemy levels go up indefinitely?

The increased enemy levels should increase drop rates, but does that refer only to what the enemies themselves drop or also to weapon racks, chests, operations and ​sieges? Especially for these 2, is there a greater chance for weapon fragments, lampyrite and moranite or does it stay the same?

Today I spent at least an hour going across the map to find Verminia (today's meeting). I ended up joining the party of someone who had found her and it did not let me interact with her.

There were more people in the party so it seems that it being someone else's meeting doesn't matter. If there was such a cooldown period why not have it be displayed in game so no one wastes any time?

I thought the cooldown period was based on real world time, ​as in every calendar day you can only have one meeting. Is there also a personal cooldown such that even if it's a new calendar day you still can't have a meeting?

As of now do you recommend trying to find ancestors always at the same hour or skipping the days before the meetings you don't wanna miss?

The mechanic is cute and it having a predictable calendar is nice but with it being so rng heavy and these time shenanigans it ends up being more bitter than sweet.

Edit: One fix would be that the blessed meetings be displayed at world trees like avakot so it would stop being ambiguous wandering

There are already a few mini-quests in the game but unlike fables there is no part of the journal in which they are tracked. I'm pretty certain to have done them all but it would be nice to have confirmation like for the fables.

Also being an open world mmorpg it would be nice if every location was made memorable by haveing at leat a mini quest dedicated to it.

It is very easy to find fragments of things that have already been crafted. If it's something rare I can understand that you can craft a copy and trade with it but with something like 30+ fragments of Synod's bell jar there's nothing to do.

I know that in war frame the Harrow chassis blueprint is notorious for being a useless fragment that gets passively accumulated. It would better if at least we could sell extra fragments for dracs or disassemble them for crafting materials. ​​

After numerous attempts at the Vadagar duo it seems that while the drop rates for the armour are reasonable, the drop rates for weapon fragments are horrible.

Even without counting the quite high number of times I only got joineries without boss specific drops, I have so far gotten only one fragment of the royal tines (which instead has dropped whole at least 3-5 times).

Considering that between the tines, the gathannan and the marrow there are 8 total fragments I don't know if I'm just unlucky or need to recalibrate my expectations.

Have you found any particular patterns in the drops from these 2 bosses? (For example spawn location, autonomous night spawn vs votive spawn, normal vs cogah)

So far the only difference between the factions, outside obviously of dialogue, is what items you can buy, which is also the only difference between standing levels.

It would be a more engaging mechanic if there were faction specific votives locked behind a certain standing level. These quests could be both repeatable votives and one time fables that explore the lore of the faction.

It would be better if the faction pacts were unlocked through unique fables like the others instead of just being a point payout. Also Ode tempest should be unique to Silent Rose, as they are defectors who would have access to odn technology. Alca's Children should also have it's own unique flower/summoning themed pact.

A couple QoL additions could be that from the nighthold we could check our standing for all three factions and sell the faction favours without switching allegiance.

Last note, there is no incentive to use the faction areas as social hubs. They are clearly meant to be such since there's Enclave chat and we can see other players. Kith of Kings could be PvP arena, Silent Rose the trading hub and Alca's children have public group dungeons.

Outside of flyblades, all other sidearms, are just less powerful versions of main weapons. Also flyblades are the only ones which can actually be used to support your main weapon while you use it, instead of just being another weapon you can switch to. They are also very limited in number which makes them all the more forgettable.

It seems then that​ for all, including flyblades, the greatest use of the sidearms is just to have backup rune charges to kill bosses quicker. This seems like a limited use of something that could instead be expanded on, particularly through exclusive debuffing tempers.

A cool addition would be something like a summoning orb which lets you summon weak allies that however linger if you switch to you main, like spinning flyblades.

To be clear by "common" i mean weapons, mostly oden, which drop from normal enemies instead of bosses. "Rare" weapons are those that drop whole or fragments not often and only from specific enemies.

Nobles for a newer player are pretty strong, however it doesn't take that much to find or craft sovereigns.

If it's a rare weapon eventually you can trade with it but if it's something common like the falx it's almost impossible to find a buyer.

Crafting into sovereign or legendary is a great expense and if you can do it you certainly have better weapons to it with.

For those who haven't bought inventory expansions 50 slots become very limiting fast so inventory space becomes a big issue. Nobles make it worse because they seem too rare to discard but quickly fall into disuse as soon as you find something better.
