Hey! I’m doing GSR for the first time and I’m not really understanding the pattern. I think I’ve understood the technique, but not the instructions of how long to knit them. Could someone please explain them in other words?

Hello! I’m knitting the front ribbing for a cardigan and after 3 rows I noticed I should have picked up the first stitch closer to the edge. Is there a way to fix it now without unraveling?
Hello! “Suddenly” is probably not right. She is almost four and since moving to another country a year ago, she started sometimes barking at other dogs. However, about a week ago she’s just gone crazy. It’s not barking anymore, now she transforms into some sort of beast and looks like she wants to EAT them. Truly desperate and making a sound I’d never heard her make before. Sort of like the tasmanian devil.
I’ve noticed it usually happens only if we’re walking past a dog but at a distance. If she actually says hi to the dog it doesn’t happen. She does sometimes make small growls and shows her teeth after a certain time of smelling, so I know I have to keep the greetings short.
I’d really appreciate the help. I truly have no idea what should be done in these situations and I want to address this asap before it becomes a bigger problem.
