Hello, this is my recent prioject about American Flamingo distribution map using QGIS and Affinity Designer 2. I wanted to combine geographic data with a natural history style infographic, showing the species range across the Caribbean, Central America, and northern South America along with regional flags, species information, scale references, and population data. The map uses EPSG 8857 and the flamingo illustration and graphic elements were composed in Affinity Designer. Feedbacks are always welcome and I hope you enjoy!

This is my recent cartography project of Egypt created in QGIS. It combines terrain types, protected areas, exclusive economic zone, major cities, pyramids, and population patterns with panels for the Nile Delta and nighttime lights. The landscape is defined by the Sahara, Nile corridor, and the Red Sea mountains creating one of the most distinctive physical and cultural geographies on Earth. All spatial data are projected in a custom Egypt centered CRS and sources are fully attributed at bottom. Feedbacks are welcome and i hope you enjoy!

Hello, I made this map and infographic as a personal GIS/cartography project focused on Kenya’s landscapes and wildlife. I wanted to combine terrain, land cover, roads, rivers, and wildlife distribution data with some more illustrative elements to show how different species are distributed across the country. I also included information on giraffes, zebras, African buffalo, and savanna elephants, including population estimates, lifespan, weight, and conservation status. Most of the mapping and spatial analysis was done in QGIS, with the final layout and graphics put together afterward in Affinity Designer 2. Hello, I made this map to show where avocados grow across Mexico and why the climate works so well for them. The top panel map highlights main production areas while bottom maps break down yields and climate zones that supports the crop production. Michoacán dominates the avocado market as usual but there are other states with high yield.

Hello, I recently completed this poster highlighting the American Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber) and its fascinating geographic distribution. This species’ native range spans much of the Caribbean, with populations shaped and occasionally displaced by major weather events such as tropical storms and hurricanes. Hi everyone, I recently finished this national atlas style infographic of Kenya and wanted to share it with you. The top panel highlights Kenya’s land cover, where rangelands are the dominant landscape, while the bottom panel features four iconic wildlife species: the Grevy’s zebra, African buffalo, African savanna elephant, and giraffe. Animal sightings are located on the map which you need to zoom a bit to see. Each animal profile includes a 3D silhouette with a comparative height scale, estimated wild lifespan, population estimate, and IUCN Red List status. Hello there! I recently finished a map of Singapore and wanted to share the final design. Singapore is a small island nation at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula known as one of the world’s busiest trading hubs, modern skyline, efficient public transportation, and multicultural population. Hello, the Philippines is made of 7,000+ islands, sitting right in the path of the Western Pacific typhoon belt. This location experiences around 20 tropical cyclones a year, more than almost anywhere else on Earth and has for centuries.

This map traces the 10 deadliest storms ever to hit the country. Yolanda/Haiyan in 2013 remains the worst: a Category 5 that made landfall with a storm surge so violent it wiped out entire coastal communities in Tacloban overnight, killing over 6,300 people. Further back, the 1897 “October” typhoon and 1991’s Uring (Thelma) show this isn’t a new problem.
