Hi - does anyone have a tips regarding where to view tonight’s eclipse? Piazza Michelangelo is the obvious choice but I’m worried about how busy it will be! Can anyone recommend a similar elevation that’s still walkable from the centre (I don’t mind a walk) but less well known than PM? thank you ❤️
The EES experience keeps on giving. Having registered with a human MULTIPLE times now, including with the same country more than once, today’s Florence experience was a headscratcher.
Got off the tarmac bus, ALL directed straight to non EU queue if you had a UK passport
Queue is massive as one person is doing the passports
EU passengers go through the EU gates
EU gates go quiet after a few mins.
Person supervising the long queue occasionally unhooks the tensa barrier and asks 4 people to use EU gates (all British as was watching passports)
Eventually I was one of the lucky ones to go to the EU gate. I went through EU gate 1 with ease with a passport scan and photo, and then a second automated gate, which did the same check, and was authorised and walked straight through.
Why couldn’t I just use the EU gate in the first place?
Why is this all so inconsistent?
And why oh why do they just rock up to the UK and use our gates without any of this nonsense? (And a bunch of other countries too).
If anyone can explain ANY of the above, I’d be really grateful 😂
EDIT: to be clear, I’m registering with a human every single time and am never able to use the gates Hi. I’m sure this is answered elsewhere, apologies. I’m a very frequent traveller to Europe. So far I’ve submitted my fingerprints and photo in Malta twice, France, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic twice, Spain three times. I’ve only managed to use e gates once at that was at St Pancras! There are now multiple entries of my face and fingertips 😂 It’s not me going to the wrong queue, I’m going to the only queue. What is going on with this system? Has anyone registered and then actually managed to use the system?!
Hi all. I’m returning to Florence on Monday yippee! What I can’t remember is how to pay for the marvellous airport tram. Can I tap my card in the tram itself? I’m fairly sure I had to use a machine last year 🤔 help! 🇮🇹
Hi all. I’m returning to wonderful Florence in a couple of weeks for 5 days. One thing I’d like to do is take a train and visit an other town or city. Nothing too far - maybe an hour - and we’ve already done Pisa (which was great to see but not too worried about another trip!) any suggestions? Thank you xxx
Hi - I’ve been on 15mg for about 8 weeks. The other day, from nowhere, I started to feel sick and eventually threw up. Thankfully that was the end of it.
This has happened twice before on established doses (it wasn’t attributable to going up a dose). Has anyone else had this?
And how did you get it?
