I've been a listener since early 2025, and besides this podcast I also listen to Ezra Klein's podcast, Inside Trump's Head, and a handful of other pods not politics related.

Is it just me or has The Bulwark gotten just too "ad-heavy" recently, compared to other pods out there? I listen on Spotify, and now I'm getting network ads (specific to my region) at the start and at the end of each episode (and sometimes in the middle of) of the main Bulwark Daily show, which wasn't the case just a few months ago. That's on top of the 3-4 pre-recorded ad reads which are part of the podcast itself. As for Bulwark Takes, sometimes I get several real-time ad reads, on top of the network ads.

I'm trudging through but I feel like the amount of ads this podcast bombards you with is no longer justified, relative to how much I enjoy the pod content overall. This is of course a subjective judgment, but really the only show on the Bulwark I still genuinely enjoy is MAGA Mondays.
