New rider seeking advice + community

Hi everyone!
I’m a flight attendant, and I recently spent a three-day trip flying with a coworker who’s really into motorcycles. We ended up talking about bikes the entire trip, and by the end of it, I was genuinely interested in learning to ride and eventually investing in a bike of my own.
Right now, I’m just trying to get involved in the community and connect with other riders in my area. (Jacksonville/Orlando ish.) I have a ton of questions, but aside from my coworker, I don’t really know anyone who’s into motorcycles. I’m also curious about trying out backpacking at some point to see if I actually enjoy the experience before fully committing to riding on my own.
How did you all meet other riders when you were getting started? Are most people in the community pretty welcoming to beginners who have lots of questions and are looking for advice?
I’d love to hear any tips or recommendations for someone just starting out!

genuine question for all the brats

My partner and I (25M, 25F) actively engage in BDSM scenes and activities but aren't in a 24/7 dynamic. I am a true submissive, and he is a true dominant. He doesn't mind that I'm a submissive whatsoever, and enjoys it, but he does make the occasional comment about how he wishes I was more bratty. The thing is, I have always been submissive-it's just in my nature. So, to all the brats, how can I start giving him a little bit of what he wants? Any advice? I truly am at a lost because I'm just so used to being the goody two shoes and listening😅

Switching Orthondontists mid-treatment?

Curious if any of you guys have ever switched orthondontists during mid treatment. I have been on invisalign for over a year now, got off but then doc decided to make a few tweaks so we scanned for a new set of trays. So far everything has been okay with this orthondontist, however, i had some pretty bad pinching on my new trays. I kindly asked if they could shave down the trays just a tad to avoid the discomfort, and I was met with annoyance and a clear attitude. Unfortunately, it kind of turned me off from this office. Has anyone switched orthos mid round? How has that panned out for you?
