I'm not sure if this is some software thing. But this happens mostly if the movie or video is mostly dark. I even went through the entire system and all the settings to try and figure out what is causing it to annoyingly darken in an ALREADY DARK scene making it even harder to see, but I couldn't find anything that would stop it from happening. Seems very counterintuitive and illogical to add such a feature. I even turned all the settings off and it still happened.

Could it be because of Android 14? Or a recent update? I just really wish this didn't happen because I really like this projector, super sharp, colorful. Just pisses me off that I can't for the life of me find or figure out why it's dimming like that. (And I do NOT have adaptive brightness on at all, and I have brightness set to 10. Adaptive luma control is off, local contrast control is off, gamma is middle. DNR is off, MPEG NR is off. And so is HDR and memc.)

If anyone is experiencing the same thing, or knows anything about why this is happening, I'd love to know why or when it started.

I just got broken up with today at like 7am 😭😂.

My girlfriend with BPD (now ex) decided to wake up and choose the void of pain and suffering this morning and told me this exactly:

"The more i am with you, the more i realize i don’t have feelings for you.. i thought i did.. i thought i loved you like that.. but i think its only love for a best friend not a lover. 🥺 gosh im sorry.. i dont know what im doing i break hearts 😓"

😀 I mean what did I expect, Why am I even writing this? To feel better? PFF- id feel better if the relationship lasted more than 20 DAYS... And even worse is I think I treated her impeccably well, and it FELT very healthy, I did everything to prevent the loss of feelings and it STILL happened🤦🏽‍♂️

Either my first girlfriend (who was a Wiccan) cursed me, or I'm just choosing the wrong people, cuz embarrassingly I've dated 16 people now 🤦🏽‍♂️ and all obviously end in failure even if I try my absolute best. 😂
