Subject says it all! I’m looking for a good bike option for my teen, who is currently 5’6”. He will mostly be riding it around town and to/from school, but there are a few small hills and I don’t want to assume he’ll be on pavement 100% of the time. Hell also often be wearing a backpack.

I see that the Ozark trail bikes are really popular here. Any specific model recommendations? I’m open to other brands as well.

Budget: under $450

Moved into a rental from out of state very recently. My partner toured the place beforehand, but did not realize that part of the house has subfloor only (the living and dining area). It is squeaky and there are quite a few gaps - if the light is on in the basement, you can see straight through the gaps.

Can someone help me understand if this is legal under Ohio building code? What is the best way to address this with the landlord?
