ASUS FX50J laptop powers on but won't display, Caps Lock doesn't respond, removing RAM changes nothing

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my ASUS FX50J laptop before I take it to a repair shop.
What happened:
- The laptop was working normally when it suddenly freezed for a second then blue-screened.
- It automatically tried to restart, but it was taking a long time.
- I unplugged the power cable while it was still restarting, and it immediately shut off.
- Since then, it has never booted again.
Current symptoms:
- Pressing the power button turns the little green led lights on the laptop
- The fan behaves the way it normally does (it doesn't spin immediately; it starts after a short delay).
- The screen stays completely black with no backlight.
- The Caps Lock LED never responds when I press the key.
- An external monitor also shows no signal.
- I removed and reseated the RAM, but nothing changed.
- I even tried powering it on with no RAM installed, and the behavior is exactly the same.
- battery little green led light works fine it lights up when the battery is connected and turns when i remove it
- One strange thing I noticed is that if I plug in the charger with the laptop off, my USB mouse immediately lights up, even before I press the laptop's power button. I don't remember it doing that before.
Has anyone experienced these exact symptoms? Is there anything else I should try before taking it to a technician?
