Lords could use some help

In the middle of my 1st playthrough with the Lords since several months on Endless difficulty. Much more balanced experience than with the Necrophages, mostly because I spawned next to Necros and they really are a drain on my economy. Thankfully all the other factions shower me with treaties and enticements.

Only minor issues so far but definitely worth fixing:

- I am stuck for ~40 turns on the main quest because I have been tasked to take a fortress at around the first Landfall, but the fortress is Lvl2 and full with Gorogs. Army strength of 1800, when my strongest stack was like 600-900. I am now well past the second landfall and I am just starting to be able to mobilise a stack strong enough to take it on.

- the penitent chapels are a victim of the district overhaul. We are on turn 65 and I still haven't managed to build one on all three villages of my starting territories. It would take like 10-15 turns to build the last one. Shouldn't they have a flat cost like extractors? Would love to be able to build them from the outposts too, like the extractors.

- the cost of the range and flying Lords units is far too high: I am at turn 65 and I still haven't managed to build a dragon, barely one range unit and it's nowhere near good enough to justify its cost. Had to skip the unit upgrade tech of a whole era because I didn't have any unit to apply it to. Pretty boring to field armies of only infantry for the whole game.

- small UI errors: one of the necromancer governors says it gives 1 science per district; actually it's one science per foundation. One of the Lords side quests (the corrupt soldier) asks to use the Parley action twice, but neither bribe or parley resolve the quest..

Otherwise struggling a bit more economically than I thought but that might be a skill or rng issue

Endless difficulty too easy?

I just finished my first Necrophage run in several months. As I said earlier, I really liked the changes to the quest dialog system, and I really had a blast conquering the world. However, I encountered literally no resistance from the AI, and I am playing on Endless, so I am wondering if there is something messing with my difficulty levels.

I am playing on archipelago to get a faster Landfall, and shortly after having completed my second stack I had to start a war with a neighbour to keep fuelling my economy with corpses and war spoils. Kin looked too tough, so I attacked my Necrophage neighbour. The kin declared war to me after I trespassed and while I was besieging a Necrophage AI, but they stopped after taking me a single territory, so I could wipe them out after I vanquished the Necrophage. After that I was able to colonise the whole planet and wage two wars in parallel against two of the three remaining AIs without breaking a sweat. No AI had more than two cities, or declared war to me after the Kin. Even if they were too scared to attack me, they did not try to expand and just let me do whatever I want. They were never close to completing any victory path.

It was a fun game but in EL1 it seemed just having a shared border was enough to trigger a relentless war, and I see so many people saying how hard the AI is, so I am wondering if there is a problem with the Endless level.

Defeating the necrophage is underwhelming

I just started a new game as the Necrophage after a long break, and first off I want to congratulate the Devs for the rewrite! I love the new quest scenes and the game is flowing very nicely.

I play on Endless on archipelago and so far the AI is OK but definitely underwhelming for the highest level of difficulty. Tried to attack the Kin after the 1st tidefall but they were too strong, so I pivoted to a necrophage neighbour. There was just one empty territory with a quest fortress between me and their capital. It seemed they were not able to defeat it so they just left that territory alone. They had just one good stack with a high level hero, then perhaps two stacks of larvae. I had to break the siege once but I was able to defeat their main army outside of their city, then completed the siege and started devouring it.

Already there I find it a bit underwhelming because devouring the capital of the sprawling Necrophage horde would just give me 400 dust or so, less than I get winning a standard battle. But then the enemy gathered in their city and I can't attack them on it because the siege has already been won. They accumulated three stacks of larvae and spitters, but just sat there and watched me consume their hive. If only for roleplay reason, I would have expected them to throw themselves at my army in a desperate attempt at stopping the consumption of their hive, but no. They just sat there until their whole empire crumbled. They could have at least inflicted me serious damage before dying out.

And then when I have consumed their whole empire in one fell swoop, I just get a little notification that they are defeated and that's it. I feel that should have at least diplomatic consequences, and defeating the massive single city of the Necrophage should get me a lot of loot. I just brought down 15% of the map after all.

I am now turning my ravenous eyes back on the Kin, but ironically I am expecting a much harder conquest since I will actually need to beat them town by town instead of just taking their capital.

They did declare war on me and took my wonder while I defeated the necrophages, and I was also getting plagued by two Horrors, so it definitely wasn't a walk in the park though. Would have been nicer if defeating the necrophages would have had a better immediate payoff to compensate for the loss of my wonder and the horror plague.

Save slots limits

I have hit the saving slots limit, so now I need to manually delete a bunch of them before I can make new saves. Is there a tool I missed to do it more efficiently? The only way I can see is to go dig around the game folder but I'd rather do it from inside the game.
