I cannot switch to chambers ult after I use it without going into a menu and back out

Idk wagwan or if I’m not supposed to be able to switch after I ult but when I press ult key or swap weapon key or any other weapon key nothing happens or I swap to not the ult. If I press esc then back out pressing N swaps to ult or if i open buy menu and close it I can swap as well. Either Ive unbound something or conflicting binds cause I do change hella keybinds, cant find anything googling.

For what reason should I be running max FOV?

I’ve not played siege sober since like zero came out and mostly sub 10 games a season and only ever grinded rank in wind bastion which was also my first season so idk shit especially things that are current. I started on ps4 but swapped to pc after a few weeks so I just went 90 fov because u couldn’t on console and it seemed cool. Now that I’m playing again and I’ve spend however much time playing other fps games and doing a ridiculous amount of setting customization I’m in that phase for siege and FOV is a setting there’s not a lot of information about that doesn’t presume the conclusion.

Rn I play 84 FOV 4:3 because I play 4:3 in everything and I pick a pro to copy settings from as a starting point, I picked shaiiko cause he’s one of maybe 3 I can name and his settings matched what I like the most out of him beaulo and canadian. I’ve started trying out diff FOV as ever since laptop broke and got new cheap monitor seeing things is harder, also been doing a lot of nvidia control oanel display settings testing.

Playing on 60 FOV feels not good it is too narrow and I very much feel the negatives of less peripheral vision while also feeling like acog is unusable, and 4:3 also makes this more extreme. However I don’t like the acog anyway, I see the value but it’s less versatile and high speed. 90 FOV 16:9 acog is good but I actually can’t see shit with the 1x and it feels like playing tf2. 75 FOV feels great but havent spent much time testing it and I don’t believe in it enough to just trust my lived experience of enjoying it because it makes the rewarding part of the game easier and the negatives are in things less noticed like awareness.

Basically is it reasonable for me to lower FOV out of personal preference and to what extent am I disadvantaging myself for the subjective benefit? I do not care about full optimization because I don’t even want to be champ level, I’m not dedicated to practicing and learning the game. Maybe seems conflicting with thinking about FOV this much but personalizing settings is something I enjoy more than even ranking up and I usually try to find a tactic/playstyle that is very simple, doesn’t require coordination, doesn’t fuck with my teams set ups and doesn’t fall apart completely if I’m autopiloting. In siege before it used to be thermite main wall, go somewhere else to entry and apply pressure from a diffwrent direction and bandit trick on defense. All I did was play for the wall but it’s not that simple anymore and people actually pick those ops now.

My hope is that the downsides of FOV aren’t too extreme and I can go 1x/irons only building a playstyle around shorter range engagements with FOV making the longer range ones less disadvantaged. Maybe Mozzie defense idk attack maybe nomad or iana, jackal also has c7 and isn’t banned anymore so I fw that. But being a peak plat 3 at 3202 mmr and that being years ago I don’t wanna figure out the hard way this is more of doing a challenge than a playstyle.

Is it normal for paris sg to ligue 1 100 years in a row?

It took some effort to relegate liverpool from the national league but psg have just won ligue 1 every year consecutively to the point where ligue 1 has dropped to #7 in the world but psg still competes for champions league titles and won the most recent one as of 2105. I’ve never gone this far so idk if this is typical or if they win their league every year for 100 years normally as

How do you gain or maintain map control on attack?

Outside of 5 player immediate site executes onto a site or a large mechanics gap I don’t get how any map control is gained by attackers responsibly.

Meaning 5 players at a push is not much stronger than 4 or maybe even 3 especially if those other 1-2 can add another avenue of attack, cut off rotates or do something auxiliary to the main push and keep presence in more than just one place team wide. But I don’t understand how one person on attack can do anything on their own when positions can’t be cleared without being exposed to other positions.

I get that this is obviously a problem solved by utility but agents and roles are specialized and seem designed specifically to rely on each other and working together clearing these positions is very doable. But there’s only so many abilities you can use per round and only so many places your initiator can be, so how do people play attack without surrendering near total map control and info outside of conservative defaults? I know it can’t be unviable to do anything but deathball at sites and it has to be something I don’t understand but my attack if I’m not entry feels like gambling and even entry does too because like we aren’t doing perfect executes and I barely know the common angles let alone off angles.

This feels like when I would play cs when I didn’t buy nades cause I thought saving money was worth it and I felt like mid on mirage was exactly like how I feel in val now. Except even still it felt more approachable because I still only had to worry about one angle at a time and also the awp often wasn’t there. Obviously in this scenario mid seems unapproachable because of lacking player skill, but with just one smoke it becomes now not so daunting. In val obv the problem is I’m missing something super basic as well probably a lot of general map flow knowledge that would make every possible position at once not seem like a very real threat because that can’t be true.

Is my high hs% indicative of a problem or mistakes?(silver so clearly not good)

I’ve been playing not too long and initially had a terrible go at my first foray into ranked val earning myself a 9 game losing streak well earned by myself not any “team sucks” games. I’ve since turned that around after getting my bearings a bit more and have been winning though not dominating personally as I’d kind of like to(ideally because I think I can but I need to learn more n that) considering the rank. One thing I’ve noticed and is true in csgo as well is that my headshot % is seemingly quite high. In cs typically I’m at 80%+ and tracker says I’m at ~30% for the way val hs% works and top 3.2%. I don’t believe that having such a high hs% says anything positive as I’m not “go kill” running every lobby and I’m in silver.

I feel(idk) that my hs% would be lower if I were to become better at gunplay, specifically I feel like I’m mostly aiming to tap a head and don’t really consider body shots to a point that is probably detrimental. I know this is true in cs because I don’t play as much and don’t have spray patterns down very well so I just don’t really spray, but val I can’t tell if it’s a feature of the game because spraying isn’t as good(I run vandal, and suck with phantom) but it feels very similar to what I notice as an obvious deficiency in cs. Basically I have a high hs% in cs and I know it is because of my weakness in spraying rather than I’m a demon, and I’d like to know if this is likely true for val/how I should actually approach shooting.

Val feels very tap/burst oriented especially with the vandal but I don’t know if that’s also feeding into my bad habit where I either get the kill blowing they head smoove off or die when I could’ve taken an easier shot. Spraying with the vandal seems not it but sometimes it feels like a more responsive guardian.

ppl always ask for tracker don’t think it’s relevant but adding: https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/456%2344444/overview?playlist=competitive&season=ce2783e8-44fc-dd48-3da3-33b5ba6c4a22&platform=pc
