I already took and passed my state exam last week, so I have been studying pretty actively. However, my state exam was horribly easy compared to the NREMT. I read my book cover to cover in class and been studying via pocket prep and a google doc with questions I get wrong. Any strategies and any amount of time you suggest studying a day? Thanks! Im superrr nervy and would love to not retake this exam

Long story short, the area I live in I can more easily get a ski patrol job than an EMT job. Im planning to do that for the winter until I can move to wherever I can get hired at a 911 agency as I JUST passed my EMT course and hopefully I can take the NREMT soon. Is this experience looked on favorably and has anyone done this? Thanks!

EDIT: Also taking an OEC course and it will count for continued education.

If you bring a kid into a restaurant and they’re able to sit there calmly and make minimal distractions, whatever. But, as soon as they start screaming PLEASE take them outside. The poor kid is not having a good time and no one else is either.

In this economy, going out for a nice meal is a bit of a treat. Please, don’t ruin someones night out, Please, do not give me a headache as im 8 hours into a 12 hour shift. People get mad at me on your behalf. I will never understand how taking your screaming child out in a public space where people are meant to relax isn’t embarrassing.

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone made this comparison yet, but I was just listening to Honeybee and it reminds me so much of Me and My Husband by Mitski in the subject matter. Or even Maggots for Brains as well. Mitski and Olivia are very different artists, but they are very able to describe this feeling lyrically. This overwhelming love that you are so scared of losing that its all you care about, but its also all you have.

Anyways love the album. Honeybee is done so beautifully its so haunting and I think about it a lot as it perfectly describes a love ive felt before.
