More Things You Want to See in Kdramas????
●More 18+/mature scenes—kdramas are usually less explicit and I don't mind that however I'm tired of 30+ year olds acting like they've never dated before. I'm not asking for nude bodyshots but I'd like more mature scenes
●More queer/gay characters—I get that SK is a kinda conservative country that has low percentages of openly queer people but I think it'd be nice to have more kdramas that include/center around the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals without being fujoshislop
●More male to female cross dressing dramas—like the Tale of Nokdu. This would be so much fun to watch
●More realistic depictions of the Joseon Dynasty—like featuring actual peasants and the struggles. Little/no palace drama.
●Saeguks that don't take place in the Joseon Dynasty—I get it, the Joseon Dynasty is the easiest to portray and research but I'm kinda bored of it. Non-Joseon Dynasty saeguks had their lil moment in the 2000s and early 2010s....we gotta bring that back
●Actual poverty—not that sterilized stuff, the real stuff. Tryna make ends meet till the next paycheck. If a character is poor, it should actually affect the plot
●Rich FL x poor ML—we have so many dramas that feature the opposite so why dont we change it up🤷🏾♀️it'd be fun to see how the dynamic changes.
●Slice of life dramas that take place in bygone eras—Reply 1988 was a nostalgic experience for many people and it'd be fun to see that for other decades such as the 50s or 1910s. I'd like to see that instead of the 100th boring countryside plot
