I’m an intern at a pretty well known company and today my manager and I were having lunch and we were talking about being in a foreign land and he asked me do you want to stay in the US after you graduate and I accidentally said I do but not for very long because I didn’t want you to sound greedy and have that “he is trying to be here forever” idea in his mind. Did I screw up of course I want to be here I worked hard to be here get an internship and possible get a return offer from the company is this one statement going to be harsh ?
