This is so heartbreaking, even at 2 years old little girls can sense they’re being treated differently then their siblings
This is from a viral post going around on X of a mother referring to her 2 year old as a bitch for displaying…normal 2 year old girl behavior
Why are little boys allowed to act like children but little girls are meant to be calm and composed from the moment they’re born?
You’ll never convince me that pro life isn’t akin to pro rape
From a pro life “human rights” page on Twitter …
I commented calling them disgusting and they blocked me
Protestor outside of clinic is confronted for working for a weapons manufacturer
Pro life rhetoric is a socially acceptable form of hate speech against women and I’m sick of pretending like it isn’t
I hope this is the right place for this rant, I’m pretty sure it is. I’m a long time lurker and I need to vent my frustration.
The United Nations has forced pregnancy classed as an extreme human rights violation and an act of torture. And the last time I checked, advocating for humans rights violations and torture in any other scenario would be (by Reddit’s own rules) classified as hate speech.
Yet somehow pro life rhetoric gets a pass? A dangerous ideology that has killed and will continue to kill women, isn’t? They get a subreddit to safely platform views like “rape victims shouldn’t punish their children and an abortion wont unrape them anyway”. (This is a sentiment I have seen far too many times with ZERO mod pushback)
Am I crazy for thinking that’s insanely unfair? I think views like that should be just as socially unacceptable as racism, (outright) misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia etc. People should not feel comfortable enough to admit that out loud & social media should not be allowing them to keep these platforms. I think the reason it’s seen as “protected speech” here is because it’s concerning the rights of women and girls.
If men had a condition that gravely endangered their health and emotional wellbeing, forever altering the course of their lives but doctors found a way to reverse the condition and people advocated against it in droves despite the physical and mental anguish of not having the procedure, I think it WOULD BE classified as hate speech against men and not allowed to be casually spread online.
Lack of reproductive freedom is what turned me into an antinatalist
I was childfree for a long time, but when Roe v. Wade was overturned it turned me into an antinatalist. I know we all have our reasons, but the idea of birthing a girl into this world knowing one day I’ll have to sit her down and explain misogyny to her and that not everyone wants her to have reproductive freedom makes me feel sick. I couldn’t bring myself to do something so cruel, and people look at me like I’m the crazy one for expressing that (outside of here)
I don’t think it’s okay, acceptable or morally justifiable on any level to bring girls into a world that sees them only as incubators and it’s my biggest reason for antinatalism. If women and girls cannot have freedom and equal rights then humanity doesn’t deserve to go on anyway. It makes me so sad when I think of all human history and how women have been forced to birth their oppressors for all of our history and it really does make me sick.
Forced birthers have no qualms voting for someone who helped get a child sex predator only one day in jail
Pro lifers are so pro life and care about children so much they will vote for a pedophile protector
