Hey yall, just wanted to spread some positivity. Coming back to this game has been amazing and I am really enjoying the RvR and Scenarios. I strangely have been more focused on playing low level characters just because trying to play my high level ones is overwhelming. I am pretty shy and dont usually post in the region chat, but do communicate in the pug warbands I join just to thank the overflow warbands for lowbies like myself. I am excited for the weekend to play EU times :D

I am returning to the game from a several year break and I am really suffering from the NA timezone low population. I live in the EST time zone and the last couple of days I have been trying to play but there is nobody in rvr and scenarios I am lucky to have 4-6 people on both sides combined.

I remember one of the major reasons why I took a break was because how lonely it was trying to play warhammer online after work/weekend nights and I hoped that there would be more players after my break but I was completely wrong.

I feel like the only way to play this game is on the weekends in the morning/noon when there are EU players but it does suck that I want to play when I get home from work on a weekday and by the time I start playing everyone is logging off.

I should look for a guild that plays NA times but dont know if there are any casual friendly guilds that are still playing anymore. Is there any recommendations for a returning player for NA times?

Hello everyone, first time posting here so please go easy on me. I been working for a year as a customer service representative for the ontario public sector and my contract is ending soon. I am burnt out from this position and I want to pursue new job opportunities but cannot apply for jobs while working full time due to disabilities. Before my contract ends my employer will have an internal job posting of the exact same position that I am currently in and I have the ability to apply to the job as a brand new person even though I have been doing this position already. There is a weird thing where my job is officially ending and I will be given a letter of termination due to the contract closing, but while I am working I can apply for the job opening and if I succeed I will extend my contract.

I been doing research and found that while technically the ending of a contract makes me eligible for Employment Insurance, but there is a lot of restrictions that I am qualified for the job and without applying for it I would be ineligible for EI. Deep down I know the actual solution to this is to still apply for the job but subtly sabotage my application to not be picked.

I have a great relationship with my manager and supervisor and explained to them that I am going to pursue new opportunities at the end of my contract, but now that I have confirmation that if I do not attempt to apply for the new job opening for my same position it would result in me being ineligible for EI this makes things very difficult. I definitely don't want to waste my manager and supervisor time with a bullshit application, and they would know I would be faking my application because I been working very hard since I started here. I am debating if I should be honest with them and explain that in order for me to get EI I have to apply but actively not want to get the offer, which I personally feel terrible doing and I know that is dangerous because if someone investigates it would show I am trying to cheat the system.

Its not the end of the world if I don't get employment insurance, but I do actively want to get it just as a safety net in case I do not find work within a reasonable time after contract ends and I am applying for new jobs.

Thank you for your time, I would appreciate any advice I can get.

Hey yall, just wanted to check if there is a meet-up at anime north to hangout before/after Woolies panel at Anime North 2026 today and sunday? The signing for sunday is on the calendar for the convention so I am planning on going to the panel today and go to the signing on sunday.

Edit: Bought a large titanfall poster at the vendors to have Woolie sign on Sunday. Super excited to have him and Reggie sign it.
