Wow, what an adventure! Ever since I saw one of these on Etsy I wanted one. My son was able to print all the pieces over the last 6 months and in my spare time I painted each piece. So many of you in this group where instrumental in all of the decisions that were made. Magnets, pegs, LEDs, painting styles, types of paint and so on. I could not have completed this without this community, so thank you.

I play regularly with groups of students in my game club. This will blow their minds next year when we start up again.

I can't wait to share this with them.

If any of you are on the fence about making (or buying) one of these boards the Dragons Rest files are incredible. They look great and fit together incredibly well.

Just the one corner let to paint. All other sections are completely finished. I pulled out some minis and furniture to see how it fits. I think it works well. Most 3 square furniture pieces fit neatly on two squares. Heros and monsters have plenty of room to move about.

I can not say enough about how much these little guys add to the game board. I only have 3 printed so far and they are incredible. Still need to prime and paint them to match the rest of the walls.

Hallways and edges! All walls are at least ready with a base coat (so boring). I might do some detail work to the bricks around the metal floor grates but I'm not sure yet. I think my next post will be when the board is all done, hopefully be early next week.

Finally have everything printed! Had a slight priming mishap with all my Q3 and Q4 floors. I left them to dry outside and they warped in the heat so I needed to reprint all of them😭. So much painting left to do but it's good to see the project in its full form!

I mean, they tried. It was fun to have the 8 bit music while I painted though.

Got the Q2 floors done. I am loving doing the floors. Also got the center room walls done, the walls are getting old, only 16 more sets to do😫.

Little by little the dream is coming true.

I plan to 3d print the Dragons Rest battle arena (AtOH) and have 2 on 2, (or more) skirmish battles allowing players to use these Boss characters. There are so many options now, I just hope it doesn't create decision paralysis 😁.

Thanks for the ideas on sorting the cards. Here is what I went with. Color tabs in the box and tiny hole punch dots of the same color in each card sleeve for that set. COPD is in the front middle, they don't need anything because they are holographic and stand out. The base game and heroes don't need anything either.

My dad was nice enough to build this box for me. I had all the cards in there by type, but recently decided to sort them by expansion, other than the heroes. This way I can incorporate each expansion with the base game as I play them.

So... Any ideas how to neatly label them on the sleeves so I can easily sort them when I mix them together with the base set? Ink tends to rub off and stickers will change the thickness too much.

(I have FL and CoPD too I just don't feel they need to be in here)

Just need Q3 and Q4. Going to start clips and magnets soon, then prime and paint. Should be ready to play on by summer (I hope 😁).
