In light of the recent arcade situation giving the webkinz penguin a bad association, I thought I would try to offset the bad penguin vibes with some good penguin vibes!

This is my penguin Chili, who I got at the thrift a few weeks ago. Given how new she is, I don’t have any actual photos of her in the wintery outdoors - but I do have some barely passable photoshop skills and photos from the ski hill this past year!

Do you also have a webkinz penguin? I’d love to see them -in game or the plush- photoshopped into wintery scenes or just as is! :)

I have no ikea near me and shipping is so expensive, but I finally found a friend on facebook marketplace for $5! went on a little bike trip to go pick him up, and he rode home in my backpack 🦈

I got the spotted pig the other day, but I haven’t been a huge fan of the sparkly fabric. Went to the fabric store and got a small amount for like $4 and just switched out the ear fabric 😊

I also made her tail more swirly using some elastic (photo 2). Overall I’m really happy with how she turned out! Im pretty new to sewing and did everything by hand, and didn’t find it too difficult (although there were a few fiddly bits). I’m sure the stitches are pretty wonky lol but you can’t really tell with her fur 🐖

Someone near me listed their collection (like 30 webkinz 😭) for $10 and the dodo was there. I’m so happy, I love this little guy but couldn’t justify the eBay prices! I’m still shooketh

The collection also features an earth pup, harmony pup, daisy pig and cream soda pup. And a lil’ kinz gecko which is a surprising fav of mine!!

There’s quite a few cheap Webkinz on FB near where I live, but they’re all a 30 min - 1 hour drive from me and I HATE driving. One of my main hobbies outside of webkinz is road biking, and I realized I could start incorporating webkinz pickup into my bike routes!

For my first acquisition: the mud hippo! I had this one as a kid and he was one of my favs, so happy to have this plush again 😊

So excited to find these at the thrift! I didn’t get the velvety elephant the first time I saw him, but thankfully he was still there when I went back. He’s so soft and squishy, love this one so much!!🐘
