Intense heartburn

So I mentioned in my last post, I tried to incorporate trigger foods and it ended poorly. I’ve had the worst heartburn that I’ve ever had everyday now. It won’t stop and every thing I eat, including my safe foods, are giving me intense heartburn. What do I do? I barely eat anything as it is now and now I can’t eat my safe foods.

Having a really bad flare up

Hello all, after seemingly managing my symptoms, I think I got cocky. I started eating something’s that I shouldn’t have (ice cream sandwich, subs, and some other things) and it’s been giving me the worst flare up I’ve had since this started. Burning pain in the middle of my chest and bottom of throat. What do you guys do in these scenarios? I’ve taken some Gaviscon and drinking chamomile tea and it’s not really working.

Caroline Jones

Has anyone checked out Caroline Jones? She’s part of Zac Brown Band but she’s done a lot of solo work. She’s got some good songs like “Rise (Sing it Loud)”, “Bare Feet”, and “All The Things” and a very nice voice. Any opinions on her?

Kenny Rogers recommendations

For years I only really knew “The Gambler” and “Islands in the Stream” but I’ve recently been discovering more of Kenny Rogers and becoming a big fan. I’ve been listening to “Coward of the County”, “Through the Years”, “Lady”, and “Lucille” on repeat. What’re some other song recommendations you have and what are your favorites?

Not sure if anyone has heard of him or checked out Sundance Head but I think he’s great. He was a contestant on American Idol around 2007, I was a huge fan of his and was devastated (I was 10 lol) when he got eliminated before the finals. He went on the Voice about a decade later and won it. His voice is so powerful and soothing, I’m surprised he hasn’t gotten more recognition.

Anyone checked him out or agree?

I’m tired of dealing with reflux. I’ve spent well over two grand dealing with this issue. It’s cost me so much money and energy. I’m working two jobs and it’s draining me of everything I have. How does everyone handle it all?

So I’ve been dealing with GERD for months. I’ve cut everything out you can think of, caffeine, alcohol, chocolate, mint, fried foods. Lost 20 pounds from barely eating or working out. I felt my voice start to go, I can’t sing anymore.

Last week I had my endoscopy and just had a follow up with the doctor yesterday. No hernia or H. Pylori. They don’t believe that the GERD is affecting my throat due to lack of irritation but was seen in the lower part of my esophagus causing heartburn. They’re changing up my medication to voquezna in hopes I can eat again.

Did anyone else have something similar? Were you able to go back to a normal life? Has anyone here tried voquezna and has it helped?

I have a country playlist that I’m constantly adding and listen to every day to that currently has 28 hours on it. How long are your playlists? Is it ever truly finished?
