I'm looking to find out what kind of leads are attached to the stock P90s in a made-in-China Casino. Are they (1) braided shielding like the first attached image, (2) 2-wire with outer insulation like in the second image, or (3) 3-wire with outer insulation like in the third image?
Asking b/c I'm thinking of buying a MIC Casino and then swapping out the pickups myself.
Thanks! Grateful for any info you can share.
I'm looking remotely at this used 2020 Casino reissue. It's nowhere near anywhere I could go and try it in person (about 700 miles away), but it has some upgrades that make it particularly attractive to me and worth considering buying without laying hands on. They sent me these photos of fretwear and I just don't have a very good eye and have not yet owned a guitar that reached a problematic level of fretwear, so I don't trust my own judgment.
My question is whether this wear rises to the level of affecting playing - or will soon. If there's a $100-200 refinishing cost looming, that significantly changes the value equation for me.
Thank you for any insight and patience with my noobiness!
