Has anyone purchased open-box A16 from Bestbuy? Anyone know if Asus warranty started with original purchase or if it starts with my purchase? Is purchasing an open box A16 a bad idea?
With the recent price increase to 1995 for this laptop, is it likely to come down anytime soon, or with ram prices being unstable, likely to go up more? (any insider knowledge)
Seems I saw software for Zigbee; anyone using such? Haven’t seen any support for Z-wave.

Just received this. Tuned into 40m & 80m last night. Sensitivity is great. However, no noise reduction made it not as enjoyable. If next iteration had a true noice reduction, it would be outstanding. AM wasn’t as good.
FM Radio makes it worthwhile, though. Really good. I think it nice for FM alone as a pocket radio!
Flashed different firmware trying them out. No real conclusions as far as advantages yet.
With around 600 miles and less than 300 hrs.
Haven’t seen it yet, but if it looks and cranks/runs OK, what should I look for? Anyone familiar with this year model? Not sure it is worth the asking price, but may be if it is in really good shape…
I just received this antenna kit. For those who have one: Do you have a charging light or any indication of charging? I tried a dozen different USBC cables and several different chargers that all worked with other devices…nothing.
If mine is defective it is going back, but if it doesn’t have charge indication - cheap and not indicative of the price.
Comment on this kit: To my perception, it is one of the the most rinky dink kits I have seen. Multiple cheap PVC pipe pieces that requires gluing and the top of the loop requires gluing - should be one-piece cut to length and shipped in a tube, or just sell the kit without the pipe and lower the price. The “Loop” is a piece of cheap wire, where to place it as suggested in the pipe results in a non-stable loop. A larger and stronger loop would be more indicative of the price.
The electronics better be really really really good as the rest of it is simply not indicative of the price. I will have to cut a one-piece piece of pipe, preferable in a larger size, adapt fasteners, and construct a totally new loop out of more stable copper ground wire or tubing.
To me, Bluetooth to the radio is useless. But Bluetooth to a headset would be very useful.
Anyone ever used this radio; or is there another one with Bluetooth streaming that would be suggested? I want to be able to use a Bluetooth headset to listen, and it appears the options are limited. Not clear if the Bluetooth is only one way streaming TO the radio, and not to a headset.
I have a TCL 11+ that I use only for reading and I like the text display.
