Don't Leave Me Behind!

Don't Leave Me Behind!

Good morning cruise fam!

Getting ready to head down to Port Miami, Celebration here we come when...

My Haley decided that I couldn't forget her.

I found her standing with my suitcase and her mouse dropped on top of it. It was too cute.

Just something lighthearted I thought I would share for a smile. Happy cruising everyone!

Forks Are For Eating

On July 22, Carnival posted a statement titled "a message from us" to its official Instagram account to address a viral video.

Hi Carnival cruisers, the message began. We can confirm that forks are intended for food, not foot care. Once we became aware of the situation, our team quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil from service.

The message went on to emphasize its commitment to onboard hygiene standards, even poking fun at the situation with a pun.

While the video may be generating laughs and gasps online, cleanliness and hygiene are no joke to us.

Carnival wrote in its official statement. Our crew works hard every day to maintain high standards across our feet fleet and to ensure all guests enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable vacation. See you onboard.

This vid is absolutely disgusting and people never fail to absolutely make me sick.

The Latest Anna Kepner

If you have been following the Anna Kepner case, here is the latest.

On June 16th, 2026, Timothy Hudson, the 16 year old accused of SA and killing his 18 year old stepsister Anna Kepner aboard the Horizon, surrendered to U.S. Marshals at the federal courthouse in Tampa. He is now in custody at a juvenile facility awaiting trial.

After Hudson was indicted as an adult in April, prosecutors went back to the judge and argued he should no longer be free.

A hearing was held on May 27th. The judge listened to both sides but did not rule that day, and Hudson walked out of that courthouse still free.

Two weeks later, on June 11th, Judge Edwin Torres filed an order revoking his pretrial release. The order was sealed until June 16th, the day Hudson surrendered.

The language inside that order is something else. The judge wrote that the government's evidence alleging forcible r@pe is "beyond clear and convincing," and that the allegations suggest a level of psychopathy and lack of remorse that raises concern Hudson could "snap at any time."

He ruled that no combination of release conditions could reasonably assure the safety of the community.

Hudson has pleaded not guilty to both charges. His federal public defenders have declined to comment. No trial date has been set.

Anna Kepner was 18 years old, a senior at Temple Christian School in Titusville, Florida.

A cheerleader with dreams of cheering at the University of Georgia. In December 2024, her dad Christopher Kepner married a woman named Shauntel. To celebrate the new blended family, they planned a cruise aboard the Horizon in November '25.

Anna Kepner's car sat in her school parking lot for weeks after her death, decorated by her classmates.

At her memorial, her family asked everyone to wear bright colors instead of black, in honor of what they called her bright and beautiful soul.

She deserved so much better. ❤️

What To Do In Roatan?

Hey guys!

I'm actually hitting a port I've never been to yet. And it's my birthday week cruise.

So, I thought I'd ask you experts what kind of excursions you think are great on the island to go do.

I'm excited to go somewhere new finally!

All advice is really appreciated.

Thank you.

You Can't Make This Up

I was waiting my turn for the restroom in 1st class. Nice chit chat with my awesome FA.

When a man approaches, he had come from way back. He says something I thought I heard, to the FA.

The FA says, excuse me?

Buddy says louder.

The Captain personally invited me, and said I was welcome at any time to come visit him in the cockpit. FA was like no.

That's not going to happen. I could lose my job. Guy starts to make a fuss, insisting that he was invited at his leisure.

FA asks if we are going to have a big problem with this and did he need to escalate the issue further. Guy just stood there for a few minutes. Thinking on it.

FA made eye contact with me.

I was prepared for whatever came next.

And the dude turned and left without further incident. But the FA said to me, you know after 22 years you think you've seen and heard it all. And you still haven't. You can't make this up, is what he said.

A Shot Of Splendor At Mystery Island

I spent the day at Mystery Island via Splendor.

Locals travel to the shores by boat during the day when cruise ships arrive. Setting up market stalls, beach food outlets and excursions.

We had a beach cabana, with massages and drinks. It was absolutely lovely.

The taboo surrounding Mystery Island is rooted in the belief that the island is haunted by spirits after dark. Because of this, traditional owners and local residents do not stay overnight, making it a completely uninhabited destination.

I've Never Seen This

*Edit.

I titled it as such because I had never seen this before.

I truly was not sure of it. Real or otherwise.

It was a massive post elsewhere. Irregardless? Poor drinking behavior does indeed lead to your drink package being removed.

Balcony handles being taken away. Being confined to one's cabin or worse. Drinking responsibly is key and the point of my post.

This was being discussed elsewhere.

Clearly, someone was a bit of a nasty drunk.

Enough for Carnival to cut them off of their drink package for the duration of their cruise.

Someone commented that they should be reimbursed for the drink package they weren't able to use.

That sparked a huge debate.

I think not.

If you can't drink responsibly, and you are cut off for your poor behavior?

Then that's on you.

The Coffee Difference on Australian Cruises

I was kind of annoyed after finding out I would have to pay for my JavaBlue coffee on my Australian cruise, when I have DOUE.

I rarely drink. It makes no sense to me and I'm a caffeine addict.

I went down my first morning to the Lido deck at 3am to see if I could search out any kind of coffee, expecting nothing.

I was blown away.

There was staff there.

Coffee stations were being opened up.

And look what I saw.

These lovely machines.

Including free espresso.

I'm absolutely thrilled. I wish we had these in the US. The free coffee is wonderful.

I've only been to JavaBlue once.
