And some Self proclaimed Goat fans who are frustrated are going to flood in comment section glazing his ucl performance and League conquering cope… by joining clubs that was already ranked number 1 and was already in a winning streak. 🥀 😭

I’m honestly surprised more people don’t talk about this.

Look at the numbers in competitive internationals:

Against teams ranked 80–250 (the proper weak sides):

Ronaldo: 41 games, 51 goals, 7 assists

Messi: 10 games, 9 goals, 7 assists

Ronaldo has played four times more games against these lower-ranked teams and scored almost 6x the goals. That’s a lot of easy goals padded into the record.

Meanwhile against the actual elite (teams ranked 0–5):

Messi has more assists, more key passes, more successful dribbles, higher average rating, and more MOTMs in a similar number of games.

People love calling Messi a “stat padder” but the numbers show the opposite. One of them has been systematically racking up goals against the 80+ ranked sides for years. The other barely even plays those games.
