Just started therapy and already feel like I’m wanting to go back too quickly?

Hi. So, for context, I (22M) have never done therapy or anything. I had my first session the other day and it was really great! She was super cool and down to earth and while I felt like the topic for the first session wasn’t ideal she was very helpful off the bat and insightful and I am super appreciative for that. Near the end, she asked how frequently I wanted to do it. I said probably weekly since I know that’s common and would get me to my deductible sooner as well as being able to get used to it and develop that relationship effectively.

She then mentioned that I’d have to schedule out since this coming week she is unfortunately booked all the way. That was fine! I get it, she’s very busy and I didn’t really care. She said if I wanted, she had an online availability and I wasn’t too interested since it wouldn’t feel as personal, for lack of a better word. I then was able to book out a specific day for all of next month. However, the last few days since I’ve been thinking about the session a lot. With that, I’ve been thinking more I want to tell her and writing stuff down and what I thought about after the first session. But then that’s come to me thinking that waiting a whole week and a couple days for the next session is a pretty long wait to share that stuff since I might rethink it a lot. Even though it’s not really that long? And I feel like that’s weird. Or bad. Like, I shouldn’t want to go back this much but I’ve considered calling the place tomorrow to see about booking the online one if it’s there even though I know I wouldn’t enjoy it as much and it’d be a way shorter time til the next session anyway.

Am I overthinking this? Or would it be more beneficial to give it that wait period and bring it up? Any and all advice appreciated lmao
