Too stressed?

I’m navigating my first Molly pregnancy so I’m not sure what to do- I’ve put her in the breeding box, but she seems stressed- her face is against the walls of the box a lot. She’s chill most of the time but she has bursts of anxiety it seems.

Is this normal? I don’t want her to give birth in the main tank because despite there being a decent amount of cover I don’t want to run the risk of the fry being eaten. However I also don’t want her to be too stressed and possibly miscarry them in the box.

What should I do?

When should I isolate?

My Molly is pregnant, and I’ve never had this before so I’m just wondering if anyone can estimate how far along she is, and when would be an appropriate time to put her in a breeder box?

How to connect speakers to my setup?

I recently got an Xbox series x, and have paired it with the Lenovo Legion R24s 23.8" FHD 144Hz Gaming Monitor. I am new to this and have come to realise it does not have an audio jack. Apart from the obvious and inconvenient method of plugging in the speakers my controller- is there anything else I can do?

What is the sex of my tiger barb?

I just got a tiger barb- I’ve never had one this small before and I’m just wanting more opinions on what the sex is. I think it’s female cos it is a little rounder but not 100% sure.

Thanks!!

What is causing this noise?

Hey everyone,

I’ve had my shrimp tank for about a month, and the filter hasn’t made unusual noise until today. Does anyone know what’s causing this?

What do I do once all my shrimp give birth?

Hey all, I have yellow cherry shrimp, in a fairly new 11L tank. 3 of them are all suddenly berried at the same time. Given that my tank is small, I don’t think I can keep all the babies in there.

I was thinking of selling a good amount of them once they’re a decent size, but what can I do until then?

I had the idea of putting a breeder box in my large fish tank, but given the water isn’t conditioned for shrimp specifically, would they be ok in there?

Can someone give me an action plan to make it safe, fairly easy, and comfortable for them? What do you guys do?

Thank you!!

What is this and what do I need to do?

One of my green tigers has ripped fins, and I’m not sure what it’s from. Perhaps a fungal infection, or getting bullied by another tiger barb (they’ve been fine apart from some chasing but maybe something has changed).

However, if this is an illness, do I need to isolate her, give her meds, or just wait for it to get better?

Water parameters:
PH: 7.6, ammonia: 0 (but was at 0.25 for a brief time before I fixed it), nitrite: 0, nitrate: between 10-20.
Temp is at 24 degrees Celsius.

How can I stop my shrimp escaping my tank and passing away?

EDIT: parameters: PH: 7.6, ammonia: 0ppm, nitrite: 0ppm, nitrate: between 5 and 10ppm

KH AND GH: 3 and 18

I got a shrimp tank about a month ago, and it’s been going great. In fact, today, I saw my first berried shrimp in this tank. All of them are successfully moulting as well. However, I have found 2 dried up shrimp outside my tank in the past day. One right next to the tank and one on top of the lid.

I have a theory that they escape via the airline tubing/heater wire in the corner. I really don’t want it to happen again, so is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Thanks!
